Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Christopher and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the shipping address no longer appearing. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made. That being said, I believe that what might be going on is that by default tickets are virtual products. This is why there is no shipping address typically attached to them.
You can of course workaround this as discussed by my colleague Cliff: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/proceed-ticket-checkout-but-not-showing-shipping-address-column-filled/#post-1246547
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberBonjour Erik,
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/

Salutations,

MemberGood afternoon Christina,
Major kudos for finding the redirection rule that was interfering!
This plugin is pretty amazing and I believe it should work smoothly with ours otherwise.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great weekend!

MemberGood afternoon Jennifer and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe that what is going on is that the “free” part is generated by the fact that there are several tickets at stake.
You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/a63180206b4ebb3a1f30511228816652
I believe this should solve your issue.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Gaspar and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you have bumped into while using WPML alongside our plugins. I would love to help you with this topic.
If you have not already done so, I would recommend reading and using the following guides:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Normally, as long you follow the instructions to the letter, recurring events should generate on their own.
With that in mind, you might have to do 1 extra manual step when you edit a series of recurring events.
Hang in there!

MemberGood afternoon Sied,
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.I will be handling this request with you at my colleague Cliff’s request because of my extensive experience using our plugins alongside WPML.
I am truly sorry your experience has not been up to par so far. I would like to try to make this better.
Regarding the map view, you should be able to get things to work using string translation. Here is a 3 step guide to that:
- Head over to WPML > string translation > Search for the “map” string make sure ALL of these strings no matter their origin is translated (e.g.: both the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro strings).
- Save your permalinks
- Head over to WPML > Support and click on “Troubleshooting page”. Hit the “Clear WPML cache” button.
The map view should no longer return a 404 error message.
As for your second issue, this looks like a caching conflict.
I am noticing that you are using a caching plugin. My first recommendation would be to try to remove the monthly caching view option under Events -> Settings -> Display
Secondly could you try temporarily undoing the action of your caching plugin to see if that helps.
Finally could you please tell me what happens if you refresh the page once you are on it and it does not display the proper translations ?
As for your final issue, can you confirm that this happens on the month view as well ?
I believe this is closely related to the previous issue. As an additional test, could you tell me if the issue persists in the list view ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Karoliina and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the shortcode failing to work as expected.
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that the shortcodes should work great with WPML.
So let’s find out why this is not the case for you. There are a couple of reasons why this might not work. But, the 2 top ones are:
- Inadvertently failing to use straight quote characters ” (as opposed to any other ones – e.g.: ”). Make sure you are using straight quotes.
- Forgetting the dash (-) in the slug (e.g.: weekly-classes , not weekly classes). I am pretty sure that is the issue in your case
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Kristof and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Can we pull, automatically or periodically, all events from the other calendar/site?
Yes, that can be achieved by using our awesome Event Aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
Simply put, it lets you import from another calendar URL.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood morning Alex and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thanks so much for getting in touch!
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as <u>The Events Calendar</u> and <u>Event Tickets</u>, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please <u>log in to your account</u> and <u>submit a post to the appropriate forum</u> for the affected product.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through <u>our conflict testing steps</u> prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberGood morning Dave and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
When translation file strings are not kicking in, it is usually caused by one of the following things:
- Your translation files are not up to date
- You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These might not be updated and will override any other file.
- The strings are translated, but are considered “fuzzy”
In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.
In the last case, you will need to make them “unfuzzy” using Poedit.
Another approach to this would be to apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/29903a974cb84060957881c17613c278
Of course you need to tweak that snippet for the strings of interest first.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood morning Scott,
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
As my colleague Victor pointed out, I was unfortunately away on vacations.I ran some tests with your theme and you are right, somehow it seems to not use the normal style.css approach.
The good news is that I was able to circumvent the issue by using Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
Putting the CSS rule there works like a charm if you are using the category URLs.
The rules can also be easily adapted for other uses.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
