MemberGood evening Raymond and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about Venues not working as expected with WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, they are a bit dated (we are working on updating them), but if you have not already done so, please read the following 2 knowledge base articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
Finally, would you mind sharing a specific example of a venue that does not display properly?
Hang in there!

I would love to help you with this topic. The simplest solution to this would be to do a quick template override for the single event view (aka custom view).
The process is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is:
- Open up the single-event view file
- Find the navigation code
- Copy and paste it where you would like in the file
- Upload the modified file in the correct folder of your WordPress theme
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Kenneth,
Thanks for reaching out!
I am sorry to hear that you are unable to create both venues or organizers. Yikes! As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically, the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize the impact on your visitors)
If the above doesn’t help, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.
What you need to do to accomplish this is a template override (aka a customized version of the list view).
The good news is that we have built the Events Calendar to make this relatively easy.
In a nutshell, you need to bring the proper modified files straight into your WordPress theme / Child Theme. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We, unfortunately, do not provide complete support for customization.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHey Christian,
Well played doing a downgrade! I am super stoked that fixed things.
That said, we would like you to be able to upgrade at some point!
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Have a good weekend,

MemberGood afternoon Kenneth,
Thank you for writing back.
If i follow the suggestion you provide, can i know how many ticket i have sold for that particular event?
You can see how many tickets are sold by checking the attendees’ list for each event: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/ AND https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/tracking-sales-getting-paid/
And what checkout system I’m using?
This will vary slightly depending on which of the two scenarios you choose.
The “simple” scenario only offers Paypal as an option.
The more complex scenario lets you integrate with the WordPress online store plugin of your choice ( WooCommerce being the most popular one). This opens the door to many potential payment gateways.
It will all depend on the type of arrangement you have with your users (if you are charging them, who takes the payments, who does the accounting).
A lot of our users really like the split-payment option of Community Tickets.
The only caveat is that you already need to be an existing Paypal adaptative payments customer for this to work (for now). That is because PayPal has sunsetted this option for new customers.Beside that, can i know is that any plugin available for reward points system??
I am not exactly sure what you mean by that? Would you mind expanding a bit or giving me an example?
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the month view navigation not working properly on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. One thing I did notice in your example is that if you refresh the page after clicking on the prev button, the correct month does display.
This looks a lot like a caching issue.
I am not sure if you have caching features associated with your host, but it looks like you have the Events Calendar’s cache activated.
Would you mind trying to uncheck the Enable the Month View Cache option under Events -> Settings -> Display?
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic.Based on what you are describing, your best approach would be to create tickets directly on a Divi page.
To make sure the tickets appear as an option, there are 2 things I recommend:
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets and make sure Page is selected for the Post types that can have tickets option
- If you have not already done so, please download the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. Most likely, what is going on is that your current import settings are limiting the range of the import from Google Calendar (I am guessing the current value is 1 month).
You can tweak those under Events -> Settings -> Import.
If you have not already done so, please read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with the map view pin.
I would love to help you with this topic. How is it possible to show the correct and actual google pin from the Venue (the one that then also pops up with their address as entered by the business itself) , rather than an additional pin that does not show the business name and is placed in a different location?
That is a great idea (showing the actual Google pin). I just forwarded it to our product strategist!
That said, we do not have that feature (yet). It makes the map view sort of useless since it is so very not accurate.
The good news is that you can mitigate that. It is not ideal, but it should buy you some time.
What you can do is look at the Google Pin and steal its exact latitude and longitude. Once you have that, you can activate the Use latitude + longitude: option in the Events Calendar’s Edit Venue screen.
At least that will solve the accuracy issue.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now, it’s the best one I have, unfortunately.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Kenneth and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Based on what you are describing, you will need at least the following plugins:
- The Events Calendar (free): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
- Community Events (premium): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
- Event Tickets (free): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
With this setup:
- Users will be able to upload their event (and you will be able to approve them)
- Users will not be able to add tickets to their events (only you will be able to)
- All sales from tickets will be directed to your Paypal account (and you will need to do the accounting with your users)
If you want a more complete solution, you will need the following additional plugins (on top of the first list):
- Event Tickets Plus (premium): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
- Community Tickets (premium): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/
This will allow the following additional features:
- Let users add tickets to their submitted events along with their Paypal ID
- The ability for you to charge a fee per ticket (different options)
We do have a bundle for this: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-community-manager/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Richard and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Trouble is the events calendar(s) “pages” are not actual WP posts or pages so we cannot control it in that manner.
That is correct, our main calendar uses WordPress Archives to display.
Would a solution be to add the calendar to a traditional WP page using shortcodes? (PRO version needed I guess?)
Absolutely. Grabbing a copy of the Events Calendar Pro and using full view shortcodes will work like a charm: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Another solution would be to use the Events Calendar’s SAAS sibling: Loxi (https://loxi.io/)
Since a Loxi calendar can be embedded on any page it will also work.As a side note, we offer Migration from the Events Calendar to Loxi for free 🙂
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Cheryl and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about
I would love to help you with this topic. If you have not already done so, I would recommend reading the following Knowledge Base Article on the full view shortcodes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
From the looks of it, the issue is that you are using invalid parameters in your shortcodes:
- You cannot use multiple views parameters in the same shortcode. The view=”” is used to define the default view. All other active views will also display, there is no need to list photo and month
- The date parameter does not support “current” or “next” as valid values (unless you have some custom code in place for that). By default, the shortcode will display the current month. The only supported format is for that parameter is yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy-mm
In other words, your revised shortcodes should be
- [tribe_events view=”photo”]
- [tribe_events view=”photo” date=”2018-07”] (you will need to update that every month of course)
Let me know how that goes.
