Ok, I want tickets that have qr codes but I don’t want to use the event page I want to use a divi sales page. I have all the tickets on the page, but when you click on the ticket it takes you to the event page and I want it to go into the card and then out to checkout once they have selected all the different types of tickets they want. I created the tickets linked to the event.

I also tried creatiing tickets on the page, but that ticket just flat does not appear on the divi page. What is my best approach?

Good evening Jill and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Based on what you are describing, your best approach would be to create tickets directly on a Divi page.

To make sure the tickets appear as an option, there are 2 things I recommend:

    1. Head over to Events -> Settings -> Tickets and make sure Page is selected for the Post types that can have tickets option
    2. If you have not already done so, please download the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hey Geoff,

I have the exact same problem. I’ve followed the above but the extension tells me to install The Events Calendar – which I don’t need. And I’ve created a page and added a ticket but it just dumps a full-width table at the bottom of the page.

I need to create a page styled with Divi, which will need the tickets table/widget adding as a shortcode pasted into a text or code module. I suspect that is what Jill needs too!

I cant find it in the knowledgebase but there must be a shortcode for the tickets table!!

    Can you help us?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Good evening Dave,

    Thank you for chiming in.

Unfortunately, there is no shortcode available for tickets at the moment.
That said I can totally see how that would be super useful.

I would encourage you to vote and comment here so that this feature request can gain some traction: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4969234-shortcode-for-ticket-purchase-eventbrite-etc

In the meantime, what you could do however is to use a snippet to move the tickets to the location of your choice.

The following snippet will need some work on the destination hook section to work with Divi, but it could buy you some time.

Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We, unfortunately, do not provide complete support for customization.
