MemberHi Alicia,
Thanks so much for follow up! This extra information is super helpful and I appreciate it. 🙂
It looks like the Start Date and Tie for the ticket in the screenshot is set for later today (2016-09-22 at 8:00). In other words, the ticket will not display until it is scheduled to go on sale. If you were to change the date to yesterday, then the ticket should display on the event. Let’s give that a try and see if it makes a difference.
Cheers!

MemberHey Patrick and welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the plugins so far and I appreciate you using them. 🙂
Good question. I would recommend one of the following options for changing the wording:
- Updating the translation file for the language being used. I think the reason that the hard-coding is not working is because you might be using a translated version of WordPress, which would tell The Events Calendar to read from a different file. If you update the translations for Details and Cost in the translation file of the plugins, then that change should take place. Here are detailed steps for customizing the translation files that come with our plugins.
- Using a snippet. We have this snippet available which, if placed in your theme’s functions.php file, will allow you to change the translation string for any word in the plugin.
- Using the Say What? plugin. This plugin does basically the same thing as the snippet above but is a little easier, especially since it doesn’t require touching code.
Will any of the above help make the change you need? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Alicia,
So sorry for the trouble here with displaying tickets. Let’s look at this together and see what’s happening.
First off, I noticed that you are running Event Tickets 4.2.3 and Event Tickets Plus 4.2.7. Will you please update Event Tickets to version 4.2.7 and see if that makes any difference? It would also be great if you could update The Events Calendar to version 4.2.7 as well while you’re at it to make sure everything is running the same version.
If the issue is still there after updating, then would be willing to take a screenshot of the ticket settings for the event you are creating and provide a link to the event as well? That will allow me to check whether everything is set up correctly.
Thanks so much!

MemberHey Victor,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to about the trouble here with the search by location feature!
I just checked out the site and it appears everything is working. In other words, I tried searching for “New York, NY” in the “Near” field and the calendar returned a list of events located in the area (screenshot).
Did you happen to solve the issue? Or perhaps I’m missing something you can point me to where I can see the issue? Either way, please let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHi Cheong, and thanks for writing in!
Event Tickets Plus will certainly allow your visitors to purchase more than one ticket in a single purchase and even allow you to collect the attendee information for each ticket that is selected.
However, it does not support ticket bundles right out of the box and I think that’s ultimately what you need. For example, you’re looking for someone to get a specific price rate for purchasing specific quantities of tickets and Event Tickets Plus unfortunately does not offer that.
However, if you’re using Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce, then you might want to consider the Product Bundles extension it offers. Each ticket that is created in Event Tickets Plus is registered as a product in WooCommerce and that should allow you to create the bundles you are looking for and price them accordingly. I have not tested this personally, but it might be worth checking out. It’s also worth noting that we offer a full refund on all products within 30 days of purchase, so that would give you a good amount of time to test things out as well.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHey Kyle and welcome to the forums!
I tried playing around with this configuration a bit and ran it by others on the team as well and I’m afraid recurring events will not support this type of recurrence. The reason being that events are meant to recur on specific dates rather than the same day.
There are a couple of different options though:
- Create the recurring event to recur once per day over the four days of the event.
- Create a single multi-day event that covers all four days and post the full schedule in the event description
Sorry I wasn’t able to find a specific configuration for that recurrence but I hope one of the other options will work as effectively. Please let me know.
Cheers,
