    This is identical to the issue I’m having. Same error message when I first publish the page (see screencap) and then if I try to go back and edit the page, it’s locked (see other screencap).

    I’ve disabled all other plug-ins and switched to the 2014 theme.

    We are sorry to hear about the error messages and inconvenience you are experiencing.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    If I understand correctly, you have identified a theme conflict with our plugins.
    In other words, once you revert to twenty-fourteen, the issue is gone.

    Can you confirm ?

    If that is true, could you please send me a copy of your conflictual WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates you might have made.

    If not, could you at least tell me which theme and which version of that theme you are using ?

    No… I’ve now tried twenty-fourteen, twenty-fifteen and twenty-sixteen. None of those seem to work. This is a brand new WordPress install, so everything is on the latest version.

    Thank you for clarifying that.

    I believe you might be experiencing a bug with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus not working well when standalone.
    The good news is that there is a temporary workaround for that.

    Could you please install the Events Calendar free plugin (even if you are not using it): https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

    This should fix things for now.

    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when fix is released.

    Hi Joshua,

    I just wanted to let you know that we released Events Tickets Plus 4.2.7.1 moments ago and it includes a fix for this issue. Please update when you have the chance and let us know if you continue to have any problems creating tickets and we’d be happy to help.
