ParticipantAfter adding a new ticket to a page and saving the page everything looks great on the front-end. However when I go to access the page again in the WP dashboard I am not able to get the “Tickets” section to dropdown. I then realized all dropdown options on the page are not functioning.
I deactivated all plugins and the plugin causing the issue is the Event Tickets Plus. I also contacted my host (Flywheel) who also said it looked like the issue was caused with Event Tickets Plus. I tried activating the regular Event Tickets and had no issue.
Please help 🙂

ParticipantAfter going through this https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ article the conflict/issue exists between WooCommerce and the Event Tickets Plus. Since the Event Tickets Plus is sold to sell on WooCommerce they should obviously work together.

We are sorry to hear about the tickets option disappearing from your pages. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.You are right, there seems to be a conflict between Event Tickets Plus and something else on your WordPress install.
However, what I can tell you is that this conflict is not with WooCommerce.At this point, there are 2 potential sources for that conflict:
- Your WordPress theme or one of it’s customization. Did you try reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen to see if that solves the issue ?
- One of the other third-party WooCommerce extensions. You did not specify if you had also deactivated those as well.
If you are unable to perform the temporary theme change, could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates you might have made.Hang in there as we figure this one out!

Thank you for writing back, running some tests on your staging site and sending the additional system info.
It’s super appreciated.I went ahead and tried to replicate your setup and I was able to.
The good news is that I have a temporary workaround for you.If you install our free the Events Calendar plugin, everything works as expected. If you don’t, you are right, there is a bug.
You can find the plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/Since this a legitimate bug I have opened a ticket for it.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.Thank you for your patience as we fix this and let me know how my workaround goes for you.

I just wanted to let you know that we released Events Tickets Plus 4.2.7.1 moments ago and it includes a fix for this issue. Please update when you have the chance and let us know if you continue to have any problems creating tickets and we’d be happy to help.
