The ticket doesn´t show

Hello!
I have Event Ticket Plus and I have uploaded an event with the ticket with woocommerce and the ticket only shows the option of RSVP.

I have uploaded an event with a woocommerce ticket before and I had no problem.

What do I need to do?

Hi Alicia,

So sorry for the trouble here with displaying tickets. Let’s look at this together and see what’s happening.

First off, I noticed that you are running Event Tickets 4.2.3 and Event Tickets Plus 4.2.7. Will you please update Event Tickets to version 4.2.7 and see if that makes any difference? It would also be great if you could update The Events Calendar to version 4.2.7 as well while you’re at it to make sure everything is running the same version.

If the issue is still there after updating, then would be willing to take a screenshot of the ticket settings for the event you are creating and provide a link to the event as well? That will allow me to check whether everything is set up correctly.

Hi Alicia,

Thanks so much for follow up! This extra information is super helpful and I appreciate it. 🙂

It looks like the Start Date and Tie for the ticket in the screenshot is set for later today (2016-09-22 at 8:00). In other words, the ticket will not display until it is scheduled to go on sale. If you were to change the date to yesterday, then the ticket should display on the event. Let’s give that a try and see if it makes a difference.

Just out of curiosity, what happens when you deactivate the Avada theme and activate the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme instead? In fact, if you could follow all the steps listed here, that would help rule out the possibility of conflicts with other plugins as well.

Let’s give that a try and see what we find.

Hi Alicia, thanks for following up!

Can you clarify a bit more what you mean that the just the RSVP option shows? Are you referring to the option in the editor or that only the RSVP shows up on the event when published?

The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site — this will avoid any disruption to your live site and ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.

• Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have a CPanel-type hosting account there will probably be a one-click install script to make this really easy)
• Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar (4.2.7), Events Calendar PRO (4.2.6), Event Tickets (4.2.7), Event Tickets Plus (4.2.7.1) and WooCommerce (2.6.4).
• Please also stick to the default WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme — again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
• Create a new event with tickets so we have some test data to work with
• Can you replicate the same problem?

If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.

In the event it doesn´t show the RSVP neither the Woocommerce ticket, just the link to google calendar.

I don´t feel confident enough to install a new website because I don´t really know how to do it.

Is there any other possibility to make it work?

Hi Alicia and thanks for following up!

It’s honestly very tough for us to troubleshoot something without first figuring out what the issue is and that’s what I was hoping to do by running a test site.

If you are unable to do a test site, will you please:

• Deactivate your theme
• Activate the WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme
• Deactivate all plugins, except for the following: The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and WooCommerce
• Create a new event and publish it
• Add a ticket to the event with the following settings (screenshot)
• Re-save the event
• View the event — do you see the ticket?
• If not, please navigate to Events > Settings > Help, copy the system information at the bottom of the screen and paste it here for me as a private reply. Please also include a screenshot of the ticket settings in the event editor and a link to the test event.
• It would be extra helpful if you could leave the site in this condition while we diagnose the issue together. Since we’re entering the weekend, please feel free to wait until Monday so there is less interruption to your site.

This will help us narrow down whether where the issue is and figure out what next steps to take from there.
