Help with recurring event

Hello,

I’m trying to setup a custom recurring event, hoping the plugin can handle it and hoping I just need some help to make it work.

I have an event for a four day agricultural fair. I have it setup in my example (see screenshot). It’s going to occur the following times:
Friday Oct 7 10am – 10:30am
Friday Oct 7 12:pm – 12:30pm
Friday Oct 7 1:30pm – 2:00pm
Saturday Oct 8 10:30am – 11:00am
Saturday Oct 8 12:00pm – 12:30pm
…

All event details are the same – venue, description, etc – just different dates/times.

Is this possible? If so, what do I need to change to accommodate it. Thanks!

Hey Kyle and welcome to the forums!

I tried playing around with this configuration a bit and ran it by others on the team as well and I’m afraid recurring events will not support this type of recurrence. The reason being that events are meant to recur on specific dates rather than the same day.

There are a couple of different options though:

• Create the recurring event to recur once per day over the four days of the event.
• Create a single multi-day event that covers all four days and post the full schedule in the event description

Sorry I wasn’t able to find a specific configuration for that recurrence but I hope one of the other options will work as effectively. Please let me know.
