MemberNo problem. I’m very glad you were able to figure it out!

MemberIt looks like your admin-ajax.php file is the issue. That file needs to be used in order for Ajax to work on either the backend/wp-admin or the front-end.
I can refer you to https://codex.wordpress.org/AJAX_in_Plugins#Debugging, but we cannot debug your site for you.
If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.
Cliff
MemberI see there are console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.) –> https://cl.ly/073L2b06451m
It’s a high priority to resolve those.
Please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Cliff
MemberThanks for those details, Mike.
I do see Line 290 uses get_label() in our latest version so I’ve logged this bug for our developers to investigate further.
Could you please provide the Google Calendar URL you’re trying to import so we can test for ourselves if needed?
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

MemberI understand, Jim. Everyone has different critical features.
Here are some print previews from our demo site:
- Month View: http://wpshindig.com/events/ –> https://cl.ly/3007162n2j1Y
- Week View: http://wpshindig.com/events/week/ –> https://cl.ly/043O1M102x2Q
- List View: http://wpshindig.com/events/list/ –> https://cl.ly/2r2z09470001
1)
Which view(s) are business-critical for you to have print-friendly copies of (Month, Week, List)?
2)
And are the print previews in an acceptable format (except for spanning multiple pages)?
===
I ask because you could add custom CSS that only applies for printing.
You could also use a service like PrintFriendly.com and then hover over items to click to delete them, then print, save as PDF, or email –> https://cl.ly/3C1b2v3j3J0j –> PDF version

MemberI see from your System Information (that you provided on-demand access to), that geoloc_default_unit = miles, so, yes, you do have that setting to “Miles” instead of “Kilometers”.
Could you please provide an annotated screenshot demonstrating the issue, along with a link to view an example event this is happening at?
Additionally, your code snippet looks incomplete. Please make sure you’re using the code snippet at the very bottom of that KB article.
Thank you.
Cliff
MemberDo you know how to access your database, such as via PHPMyAdmin?
Cliff
MemberHi, Craig.
Assuming you have the Filter Bar active, you can adjust its settings at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Filters tab.
If you still need assistance, could you please provide a link to your site where you think Filter Bar should be appearing so I can look into this further?
Also, please share your System Information. That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

MemberHi, Barry.
Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Your non-profit organizations may be interested in our Do you offer discounts for nonprofit organizations? help article.
It’s always advisable to test out the free/core The Events Calendar plugin. Plus, it’s required to run any of our calendar add-ons. For example, if you buy the PRO add-on, you’d have both the core/free plugin and the PRO plugin active on your site at the same time.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

MemberHi, Jim.
There’s no extra print-friendly functionality for the PRO add-on (or any other of our add-ons).
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests:
- https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/11454441-allow-print-or-xls-export
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

MemberHi, Jen. Yikes! That’s no good. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberHi, Scott.
Thanks for considering our plugin suite!
1)
Please reference our Can You Have Multiple Calendars? KB article.
2)
Regarding the categories, yes, the Event Categories taxonomy works like other hierarchical WordPress taxonomies. For example:
- Parent A
- Child A
- Child B
- Parent B
- Child C
- Child D
An event assigned to Child B will appear in a list of events for both Child B and Parent A.
3)
The only pseudo-way to pull this off is via Community Events, where each author can create and manage their events via the front-end (instead of wp-admin). However, there’s just one calendar for the site.
You could create an Event Category per person or per department the person works in, but there isn’t a way to display a calendar of just the author’s events.
You could, though, use Filter Bar to enable browsing by Organizer or Venue. FYI: Organizers are not tied to WordPress authors.

MemberHi. It sounds like you’re thinking along the correct lines. However, we do not have any snippets available for this, and I haven’t tested accomplishing this via template overrides / our Themer’s Guide.
If you do come up with something, feel free to share it here for other people to reference in the future.
Thanks!

November 28, 2016 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Standard RSVP not combined with additional attendee information #1198725Cliff
MemberHi Christopher.
Event Tickets Plus (ET+), which you have purchased, is what enables the Attendee Meta functionality for RSVP or eCommerce plugin types of tickets.
You can use ET+’s Saving and Reusing Fieldsets functionality but you’d have to manually assign the saved fieldset to each ticket, not automatically to all new tickets.
I’m unsure what your other questions were about; maybe annotated screenshots would help. However, my guess is that this isn’t something that’d be easily accomplished and that we wouldn’t be able to assist with such a customization.
Thank you.
