    Hi Tyler,

Yes, the tickets email contains one ticket for each attendee. You can test the email out using the free version of Event Tickets.

If you use Event Tickets Plus a QR code will be added to each of the tickets so you can check-in your attendees with it > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/

    Hi Louise!

Thanks for coming back with the screenshot.

Enabling WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG will not show up debug information in the frontend. If you want to make sure the debug messages do not appear in the frontend you can disable WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY.

Please let me know of the debug.log file.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Bethany,

Thanks for letting us know about that.

I’ve made a few tests with WordPress.com and I could reproduce the issue you are having.

I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.

The workaround for most users is to disable object caching on their sites, but I could not find any way to do so in WordPress.com. Could you please get in touch with them and see if they can disable this for your site?

If that is not an option, you could also downgrade to Event tickets 4.6.3.1 where the issue is not present. We have a guide to downgrade a plugin > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Steven!

    Thanks for reporting this problem.

I have indeed been able to reproduce it on my end. The issue seems to be that linking an additional organizer to an already created event will not show the event as upcoming in that organizer’s page.

I have created another report for this issue and we’ll let you know when fixed. I have also linked it to the previous report as they are related, so they can hopefully be addressed in the same release.

Many thanks again for your help on these issues.

    Hi Andy!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m sorry to hear you are still experiencing this issue.

I’ve just checked the report and it seems that there were some fixes and improvements that were already released, but we have somehow failed in notifying you about it. Our apologies for this.

Please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins and see if you can replicate the issue you were having.

Please note that the fix won’t remove the already duplicated events.

If you still experience duplicates when importing events, please share with us the import source where you are importing events from so we can run some tests on our end.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Ryan!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

That is not a built-in functionality of our plugins, but it could be made with some custom coding.

One simple workaround I can think of is to create a custom page where you’ll place the map image and then link the image to the calendar url.

Let me also share the following extension that you may find useful for venue pages > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/google-maps-multiple-events-same-venue/

I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up question.

    Hi April!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! 🙂

Yes, you can use the tribe_events shortcode available with Events Calendar PRO to embed a specific calendar view.

Additionally, you can make your calendar your site’s home page as explained in the following article > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-make-your-calendar-your-sites-home-page/

As a reference you can find all the articles that explain all our shortcodes available in the following link > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-tag/shortcodes/

I hope that helps 🙂 Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Hi David!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Event Aggregator can only import events using the API from another WordPress site using The Events Calendar.

You can also import from iCalendar feed following that standard, and from ICS and CSV files. Let me point you to the following articles to learn more about all the available sources of imports it supports:

I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Hi Kenneth!

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.

I’m not able to reproduce the issue in my local installation.

Does it also happen when creating an event from the backend?

First, could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.

After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.

Also, to make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.

We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.

    Let me know about that.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Bethany,

Thanks for following up with this topic.

I can confirm we have found an issue that causes new tickets to not show up in the event (nor frontend or backend), but it only applies to site’s using object cache.

Just to confirm you are having the same issue, could you please verify if you have any sort of caching system enabled? If so, please try disabling it and see if any difference.

What hosting are you currently using? the caching might be being made on the server side of things, so please verify this with your hosting company too.

Please let me know about this so we can confirm the issue and hopefully find a workaround for you

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Camille!

You will need access to the account to which that license belongs to.

If the license owner has problems accessing their account, they can get in touch with us via our contact form, and we’d be happy to help you re-gain access to it > https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Tyler!

Thanks for following up with this.

Glad to know the extension is of help 🙂

Unfortunately, the tickets email is only sent to the purchaser and not to each attendee. Again, it may be possible to achieve what you are looking for with some custom coding.

You could send a copy of the tickets email to each attendee. Let me share with you the following snippet you can take as reference and perhaps modify it to accomplish that:

    Hi Clive,

I’m not sure exactly what the issue is, but we are not getting any other users reporting a similar problem with PayPal, so it seems particular to your PayPal account.

Our subscriptions system is a tool for clients to be able to renew their licenses without having to make a manual payment each time. Not really something to confirm that you are over 18.

Unfortunately, we can’t implement another PayPal payment system other than the one we currently have. So, if PayPal is not letting you set a payment then the only option available we have is paying with a card.

I have a multisite WP install and I use events on just one site in the multisite setup… I have to download and upload manually any updates to the pro version… (the core updates on auto though)

That is the expected behavior for a personal license. If you need automatic updates for a multisite network, you will need to purchase a Multisite license > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/

Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Hi Sinethemba!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins! Let me answer each of your questions.

    1. Is the South African currency supported by Event Ticket Plus?

If you want to sell tickets for your events, the currency will depend on the ecommerce platform you use. Let me point you to the following article about this > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ecommerce-settings/

    2. Can tickets or rsvp be generated with predetermined user data (name and surname) were the user only needs to RSVP or download ticket?

Yes, with Event Tickets Plus you can collect additional attendee information > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

    3. Can tickets/rsvp/event be made to be visible to only a select number of guests without requesting them to be site members or admins?

Unfortunately, this is not not possible. If you need to limit RSVPs or ticket purchases to only logged in users, you can do so with our plugins but they will need to create a user account.

Additionally, let me share the following article as reference > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/

    4. How does the QR Scan function? how does it validate against the database of tickets purchased? I think your info mentions that any QR scanner can be utilized for this purpose…. how is the validation process managed.

Exactly, with Event Tickets Plus a QR code is generated for each ticket which you can then scan using any QR scan app. You must be logged into your WordPress site as an admin in order to check-in attendees for your event. You can learn more about this in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/.

Let me also note that we are currently working on our own native QR code scan application that we’ll be releasing very soon.

    5. Can I brand each individual ticket to the specifications of each customer? (their logo and specific choice of colors).

You can specify a ticket header image for each of your events, but there is no built-in functionality to change the color of the ticket for each event. However, further customizations can be made to the ticket email template by using on of the methods described in our themer’s guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

I hope that helps 🙂 Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Hi Tyler!

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me try to help you with this topic.

I’m not really sure how the WooCommerce Drip extension works, but I don’t think the attendees information for a ticket will be available by default in Drip whatsoever.

It is most likely that you will need to create some customization to achieve what you are looking for.

My follow-up question is: does that fire / is an email sent to every ticket recipient (even in situations where one purchaser buys for multiple people – assuming I set up a required email field for each recipient)?

No, the ticket email is only sent to the ticket purchaser, even if you create a required additional attendee email field for each ticket.

Possibly related to what you are trying to accomplish, we have an extension that you might want to have a look, that adds the event and attendee information to the WooCommerce order details > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/

    I hope that helps 🙂

    Best,
    Victor
