MemberHi Mike!
Thanks for taking your time and reporting this with a solution for it! 🙂
We are already aware of this issue, so I’ll make sure to add your solution to the report so we can take it into account when developing a fix.
I will change this thread to “Pending fix” so we’ll let you know when there is a bugfix for it.
Thanks again!

MemberHi Gibson!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that 🙂
You can accomplish all that by doing a template customization. We have a great article that will get you started on this here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
You don’t need to get a developer, unless you want to. I think it really depends on the customization you need to accomplish.
I hope you can get that done! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’d be happy to help.

MemberHi Craig!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. Let me help you troubleshoot that.
Could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try making a few purchases of tickets, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us.
As this could also be related to a plugin or theme conflict, could you please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let me know what you can find in the process?
You might want to set up a staging/dev site for this, so you can make all of this tests without affecting the live site. Also, we always recommend you make a full backup of your site, both database and files so you can restore it in case anything goes wrong.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

MemberHi S. Berman!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this. 🙂
I can see in the link you sent us that I’m able to create a venue but not an organizer, just like you say it is set in the Community Settings.
Did you manage to solve this issue? Let me know about it.

MemberHi Nicolas!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Is the code snippet that Zach put up here the one you are looking for?
Are you experiencing delays when publishing a post or an event? Did this started all of a sudden after an update for example?
How many events, venues and organizers do you currently have in your site? Perhaps you can tell me more about your issue and see if we can find the source of it.
Let us know how that goes.

MemberHi Imad!
Good to hear again from you! Thanks for coming back and letting us know about that.
First, I will kindly ask you to update to our latest versions of our plugins and the WordPress core.
Then, could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try navigating a few times into the page where you are having the service unavailable message, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can spot the problem from there.
Also, are you on a shared hosting or VPS?
Just to set expectations right, we cannot accept login credentials as stated in our terms here > https://theeventscalendar.com/terms/
Thanks,

MemberHi Oliver!
Good to hear from you again! 🙂
Thanks for taking your time and suggesting this. I will make sure to pass this to the dev team so they can take it into account for a future release.
In the meantime, you could add those formats by using the ‘tribe_display_settings_tab_fields’ filter located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php
I hope that helps! Let me know if any other questions and I’d be happy to help.

MemberHi Sandra!
Thanks for getting in touch!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue as well. This is something we were not able to reproduce on our end and the other user has not yet replied back.
Let me help you troubleshoot this to see if we can find the source of it.
First, I will kindly ask you to share the Facebook url from where you are importing events.
Could you please let me know the steps you made that resulted in this issue? Did you run a scheduled import or a one-time? Does it happen with other import sources? Let me know about it.
Also, when coming back, could you please make sure you share with us your latest system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,

MemberHi Emmet!
Thanks for reaching out to us! 🙂
Unfortunately, you can’t currently schedule an import for an ICS or CSV file. We have a good article that will get you started with all the available options for Event Aggregator > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-aggregator/
I’m really sorry for the delay in our response times this last days. We’ve been having a higher demand in our forums than usual. That with some unexpected changes in our team has led to some delays.
Bear in mind that it may take us 24-48 hours before we respond to a post, as stated here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/. It generally is much faster than that.
Regarding the source you are trying to import events from, there is workaround to schedule imports from it. You can subscribe to that calendar in a Google Calendar of your own and then you can schedule an import using “Google Calendar” as import source.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help! 🙂

MemberHi Matt!
Thanks for your cooperation so far!
I see there is PHP notice that might relate to this and I could reproduce that. But in my own installation I’m still able to send the ticket email.
Somehow I’m not able to see some of your system settings, so could you please go to Events > Settings > Tickets and let me know the options you have selected for When should attendee records be generated? and When should tickets be emailed to customers? You can send me a screenshot of it, if you’d like.
Thanks,

MemberHi Michael!
I’m really sorry you are experiencing this issue. I can only imagine how frustrating this issue might be, but we’re doing as much possible to get to the bottom of this.
Just to set expectations right, as stated here we do not provide support via phone or email and our response times may vary between 24 to 48 hours. It generally is much faster than that, but sometimes it may take us longer depending on forum demand.
Regarding the errors logged, those seem to be related to other reports we’ve had, but we don’t think they directly relate to the duplicate orders issue. We’ll keep those in mind though.
I did NOT notice any errors just a similar result that I click the ADD TO CART and nothing happens, though the system cycles.
Does this mean you get duplicate orders for this product too? Let us know.
We have again tried to reproduce this by testing with the same PHP version 7.1 as yours, but we are still unable to get the duplicate orders nor the checkout issue you are experiencing.
Bear in mind, there are many variables involved in this issue (like a theme or other plugins conflict) that can be the cause of it and is not something we are getting other users reporting. The next thing I would like to try here is creating a fresh test site — this will avoid any disruption to your live site and ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have a CPanel-type hosting account there will probably be a one-click install script to make this really easy)
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus and WooCommerce.
- Please also stick to a default theme — again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Create an event with a ticket in it so we have some test data to work with.
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks for your help while we work on this together!

MemberHi Amanda!
Thanks for getting in touch! Let me help you with that.
I could reproduce the issue on my own. but it seems the SQL query is coming from the Simple LightBox plugin and I’m not very familiar with this plugin.
Besides de SQL query error, are you also experiencing any functionality problems? Are you not able to make the Simple Lightbox plugin work?
Let me know about it.
Thanks,

MemberHi Pablo!
Thanks for reaching out to us! 🙂
I’ve just made a few tests myself and they it seems to work fine for me. Could you please send us a screenshot of the event series options when editing the event? This way we can try to reproduce the issue with the same options you have.
Also, when coming back please make sure share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

MemberHi Greg!
I’m sorry you are experiencing issues. Let me help you troubleshoot them.
When you say ‘our event categories section has disappeared from our “Add your Events” section’, what do you mean by event categories section? Were you making a template customization for the Add your Events section, that you don’t currently see? Perhaps you can share with us a screenshot of the issue and a link to that page, so we can take a closer look.
Also, when coming back, could you please share with us your latest system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
