ParticipantDear support team,
I have installed several of your plugins and I got an atypical case where I think TEC PRO is not generating the events properly.
When I make an event with a recurrence and I create a weekly series starting the very same day at a different time (let’s say at 17h00 instead of 10h00), the series will omit the first occurrence. So I can only see the original instance of the event starting at 10h00, but not the first instance of the weekly recurrence which would be suppose to be the same first day at 17h00.
Is that a misbehavior or is it intended to be like this? They way I am solving it now is by creating a new Series with “Once” recurrence for that particular instance that is missed.
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Pablo

MemberHi Pablo!
Thanks for reaching out to us! 🙂
I’ve just made a few tests myself and they it seems to work fine for me. Could you please send us a screenshot of the event series options when editing the event? This way we can try to reproduce the issue with the same options you have.
Also, when coming back please make sure share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,

ParticipantHello Victor,
I have enabled the communication between my system and TEC now. I pasted previously my system information (I hope you could see it).
I attach two screenshots: one with the recurrence configuration and the other with the recurrence result. I miss the event happening on the 1st of June 2018 at 3:00pm.
Do you obtain the same events when you set up that recurrence?
Thanks in advance,
Pablo

MemberHi Pablo!
Thanks for coming back with the screenshots and the system info.
I could reproduce the same behaviour and could track down a report we already have about this. So, I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. When a fix has been released for this we’ll notify you about it.
In the meantime, like you already did, the workaround is to create a “Once” recurrence for that instance.
Thanks for taking your time and reporting this.
I apologise for the inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience. Do let us know if you have any other questions.
Best,
VictorJune 15, 2017 at 9:46 am #1298578Pablo

KeymasterHi there!
Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, in which we are no longer able to reproduce the issue described here. This means that it may have been fixed before while working on other fixes/improvements.
You can find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-september-2018/
Please update the plugins and let us know if it works for you.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
