MemberHello Leander!
Thanks for following up with this!
We’ve had other users reporting similar issues with scheduled imports as well and we are actively investigating this. As we cannot replicate the issue on our own side it’s hard to find the source of it, so we need to try different angles to approach this.
It’s good to know that re-scheduling the imports works for you. Unfortunately, like you say there is no way to schedule Facebook pages with no upcoming events in it. This is certainly something we could do better in the future.
Manually importing pages doesn’t work, manually importing single events does work.
This is interesting. Could you please share with us the URL for those imports? We’ll try to make some tests on our end and see what we find.
Thanks,

MemberHello Anna!
(sorry I misspelled your name before)I managed to add the end date to the email template. Try using the following template to override the email.php template file:

Let me know if it works for you. 🙂

MemberHello John!
I’m glad it worked out for you! Thanks for letting us know.
The Facebook import will work with both URLs, but sometimes having variables like this “?ref=page_internal” could cause it not to work.
As you marked this resolved, I’ll go ahead and close it. But don’t hesitate to open a new thread if anything comes up and we’d be happy to help! 🙂
Cheers!

I’m sorry you are still experiencing this issue with the latest update. Let me help you troubleshoot that.
Could you please go to Events > Help and under Event Aggregator System Status check the connection status with the Aggregator server? You can send us a screenshot if you’d like.
Also, when coming back, could you please share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ?

MemberHello Leander!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! 🙂
I’m really sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
Are you able to manually run those imports?
Could you please try the following: Go to Events > Settings > Licenses and remove the Event Aggregator license and click save. Then go to your account licenses > https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/ and disconnect the license from your site. After that, enter your license back in your site and save. Does it change anything?
Let us know about it.
Thanks,

MemberHello John!
I’m sorry that’s not working for you! Let me help you with that.
I tried the import myself from that same URL and it worked out fine. Could you please try using the Facebook URL like the following and see if it works? -> https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheCommonsAnnapolis/events/
If you are still getting the error, please go to Events > Settings > APIs and under Facebook click the “Refresh your connection to Facebook” button. See here > https://cloudup.com/cLnBV-RjTW9
After this, are you able to import from that source? Let us know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor

MemberHello Irina!
Thanks for coming back with the debug.log file and all the information I asked.
The PHP notices I see are for a deprecated function and I don’t think is related to your performance issue.
Regarding the number of events, 3500 is a pretty big number of events to consider when taking into account the performance of your site. That said, I tried navigating through your main events calendar and I didn’t experience much delay, considering the amount of events per day you are currently showing.
You could try lowering the number of events per day to show in month view by going to Events > Settings > Display tab and changing the Month view events per day to perhaps 3 and see if it speed things up.
Are you having a slow down in performance in a specific page? If so, could you please share with us a link to it? This way, I can take a closer inspection and see if I can spot anything.
Let me know about it.

MemberHello Amy!
I managed to come up with the following code snippet that will add the venue name after the event details:
https://gist.github.com/vicskf/ce7ed3178099cc91a96ea4c805cf8af1
Please try adding that code into your functions.php file and see if it works for you.
