Facebook Import Not Working

Trying to add a new page for event imprter Get the following result after trying to preview event

There was an error fetching the results from your import: No upcoming Facebook events found.

Here is the page I am trying to import from
https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheCommonsAnnapolis/events/?ref=page_internal

There is an event there.

I’m sorry that’s not working for you! Let me help you with that.

I tried the import myself from that same URL and it worked out fine. Could you please try using the Facebook URL like the following and see if it works? -> https://www.facebook.com/pg/TheCommonsAnnapolis/events/

If you are still getting the error, please go to Events > Settings > APIs and under Facebook click the “Refresh your connection to Facebook” button. See here > https://cloudup.com/cLnBV-RjTW9

After this, are you able to import from that source? Let us know about it.

Thank you Victor, the refreshing Facebook solution worked.

Additional question for the future. When placing a FB URL the example in the field shows a URL for a page and the URL you suggested was the URL for the EVENTS of the Page. Will it work both ways? Or should I be using the URL for the EVENTS page of the page?

I’m glad it worked out for you! Thanks for letting us know.

The Facebook import will work with both URLs, but sometimes having variables like this “?ref=page_internal” could cause it not to work.
