Dave
ParticipantOn our site, peoplescolloquium.org, we have our Events Calandar on the homepage with the [tribe_events] shortcode. When you click to a new month, and then select an event, then hit the back button in your browser, an error occurs. The URL changes to something like http://peoplescolloquium.org/?tribe-bar-date=2017-09 and the title changes accordingly, to, say, “EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 2017.” However, the dates that the calendar actually displays are the dates and events of the current month. I’ve seen this behavior in Chrome, Safari and Firefox (it seems to work fine in iOS).
I believe this is the same issue reported in https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/calendar-show-an-incorrect-content/
Any ideas on how to fix this?

MemberHello Dave!
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this behaviour. I could not reproduce it in my own local installation, so let me help you troubleshoot it.
First, to narrow the problem down could you please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and see if it changes anything during that process?
When coming back, please make sure you share with us your latest system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,

ParticipantI couldn’t test for conflicted on the live site, as it’s in production, so I went back to the development site to test for conflicts. You can see it here: http://pq.inkstainedcreative.com/ – I’ve disabled every plugin except for The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro, and switched the theme to Twenty Sixteen, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts, but the issue persists.
To replicated the issue, click forward to August, choose an event, then click the back arrow. The title (“Events for August 2017”) will be correct, but the the actual calendar information will be for the current month, July (you can see this because the current date will be highlighted, which it wouldn’t be if it was showing the calendar for August.) I’ve attached a screenshot showing the discrepancy.
I’ve shared the system information for both the production site, above, and the live site (peoplescolloquium.org).
Thanks for looking into this.

MemberHello Dave!
Thanks for following up with this and for testing that out.
I could reproduce the issue you are having. It seems to be happening with the tribe_events shortcode in month view only.
I have created a bug report for this so it will be addressed in one of our future maintenance releases. I will change this threads status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report, so we’ll let you know as soon as a bugfix is released.
I apologise for the inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience in the meantime.
