    Hi Melinda!

I’m afraid it is not possible, Event Aggregator can only import public events, which would require the group to be public.

One of our users reported that he was able to import the name of the event with the date and time but no details from a private meetup group: I didn’t test it from here, but it might work for you as well. As George already mentioned in that thread, to be able to import events from private meetup groups (with title, date and details), it would be necessary to modify the plugin core files and change the way how it contacts the Meetup API.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Patricia

    Hey Ellesor,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems to display your recurring events, let me help you to solve this.

Could you please make sure that both The Events Calendar (TEC) and Events Calendar PRO (ECP) are up to date (latest versions are 4.6.1(TEC) and 4.4.18(ECP))?

After that, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings -> Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically flush your permalinks once you visit it).

Be sure to clear your site cache and browser cache after this change.

I hope this helps! If for some reason the issue persists after the plugin update and the permalink flush, please share your system info with us and we will be glad do further investigate your case!

    Best Regards,

    Patricia

    Hey Vander,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

A few weeks ago we released a Hotfix (The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3) to solve this issue related to the display of events in the default Month View calendar.

This problem was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendar.

To solve this problem, I would recommend you to update as soon as possible. Please don’t forget to clear your site and your browser cache after the update.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Hey Sandra,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

Your Facebook access token is valid for about 60 days = you have to renew it every two months.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with your Scheduled Events, let me help you to solve this.

If you access your Dashboard and head over to Import > History, are your scheduled imports pending or failed?

Also, if you access Events > Help > Event Aggregator System Status, do you see any errors in there? Under “Scheduler Status”, do you see WP Cron enabled (if you don’t have WP Cron enabled, is there a Real (Server) Cron replacing it in your server)?

I would also recommend you to access Events > Settings > APIs and make sure that your Facebook token is still valid.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Hey Greg,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing these problems, let me help you to solve them!

Regarding the error associated with your recurring events, can you please specify what the problem is? Are you having problems to create new recurring events from your Dashboard?

Regarding the calendar datepicker, I would suggest you to use Chrome Developer Tools to spot any JavaScript errors in your site. Access the “Add Event” page (using Google Chrome) and press F12. After that click on the Console menu and send us a screenshot / let us know if you see any errors in there.

Also, since I can’t reproduce the issue you are experiencing from here, I would recommend you to run a Conflicts Test. You can start the test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the problem is solved after that (don’t forget to backup your database before changing anything).

    Thanks!

    Hey Virginia,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue, let me help you to solve it!

The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on your website’s server, but it could not be more specific on what the exact problem is. This status code is usually associated with a PHP Fatal Error, so to identify the cause of this issue, I would recommend you to temporarily enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while trying to activate Events Calendar PRO. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content/debug.log.

    Thanks!

    Hey Rich,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

To change the z-index of the datepicker dropdown-menu, please add the following code in your theme’s style.css file:

    .datepicker.dropdown-menu {
        z-index: 1000 !important;
    }

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else and have a great day!

    Hey Matthew,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue, that’s odd! Could you please make sure that all plugins (specially The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO) are up-to-date? When did you notice that this problem started? Was it recently?

Also, can you identify any pattern in these exclusions? As I can see in the screenshot you shared, the exclusions are all from 2016: perhaps deleting old recurring events would help you to prevent this error. Under Events > Settings > General Settings I would recommend you to adjust the “Create recurring events in advance for” and “Clean up recurring events after” to smaller numbers.

I hope this helps you get started! Let me know your answer to these questions so we can further investigate your case.

    Thanks!

    Hey Angela,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing performance issues with The Events Calendar.

To get started, could you please inform me:

    – Approximately how many events do you have? How many (if any) are recurring?
    – Did the performance suddenly get worse (if so, when did it start?), or has it been a gradual progression?
    – Do you have any relevant errors in your server logs that might help us to understand why your site is experiencing downtimes when trying to submit new events? I would recommend you to temporarily enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG via FTP and share with us any messages you see while trying to submit new events and accessing existing events. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content/debug.log.

    Thanks!
