GuestI would like to just bring one event at a time vs. everything. Will this plug-in allow me to just use their link to populate my calendar?

MemberHi Melinda
Event Aggregator does allow for single event imports using the “Other URL” option. However, this is limited at this time to only include other websites running WordPress with The Events Calendar v4.5 or higher. We hope to expand that import functionality in the future, but I don’t have any dates in the near future to offer. Do you know what the website you are importing from is using?
Thanks

GuestIt is not a particular website. I post events that would be great for our community to know from school plays, to plant sales to golf tournaments. I was just trying to find an easy way so I did not have to type each event in the calendar.

MemberHey Melinda
Event Aggregator https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/ can also import from Google Calendar, iCal, Facebook, Meetup, and CSV file uploads. Would any of these be in use?
Thanks

MemberHey Melinda
You can manually add single events from any of these sources vs batch scheduling say from a Facebook page. That would still save you from re-entering the data.
Does that make sense?
Thanks

GuestYes! AWESOME! Just to clarify…we need to purchase that product…correct?

MemberYes Melinda
The plugin code for Event Aggregator resides in The Events Calendar, and then you just head to Events ยป Settings ยป Licenses to add your license key for it after purchase.
Thanks

GuestOne more question. If the events are not public or on a private group via meetup or facebook…can I still add it if I am a member?

MemberHi Melinda!
I’m afraid it is not possible, Event Aggregator can only import public events, which would require the group to be public.
One of our users reported that he was able to import the name of the event with the date and time but no details from a private meetup group: I didn’t test it from here, but it might work for you as well. As George already mentioned in that thread, to be able to import events from private meetup groups (with title, date and details), it would be necessary to modify the plugin core files and change the way how it contacts the Meetup API.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia
