Patricia
MemberHi there,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Event Aggregator cannot import RSVPs and tickets using the “Other URL” option, but it’s possible to import them from a CSV file (more information in the following link).
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,

MemberHi Krissi,
Unfortunately, we didn’t receive your screenshot, could you please send it again?
Also, could you please send us the ical URL from where you are importing these events so we can run some tests?
Thanks!

MemberHey Wanda,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Sometimes new licenses or license renewals take longer than expected to register with our servers. Therefore, my guess is that your license should work by now.
Please give it another try now and let me know how it goes. If the issue persists I’ll be happy to help you with the next steps!
Best regards,
Patricia

Thank you for reaching out to us!
To get started, please make sure that all of your plugins are up to date.
Also, could you please access your Dashboard, head over to Events > Help and send us a screenshot of the Event Aggregator System Status? Do you see any errors in there?
Thanks!

MemberHi there,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
To get started, please check the following article, it explains how to set the default quantity to one:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/handling-ticket-quantities/
If you wish to set the default quantity to 1 and readonly you can use the following snippet:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/80b33455779b74ec49f6ea3033cb47bf
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,

MemberHi Finis,
Could you please run a test and remove the venue from one of your events now with the latest version of TEC (4.6.18) installed?
Everything should be working as expected now 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi Rachel,
A number of new restrictions were applied to Facebook’s Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers and venues.
Facebook have started to open up the approval process through which apps like Event Aggregator can be granted fresh access to their APIs. This is an encouraging step but we are still waiting on a decision being made in relation to our own applications. You will find more information about this subject in the following link:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/
In the meantime, you can import events by marking them as “interested” and following the steps described in this article:
https://www.facebook.com/help/152652248136178
To get the ical link, just right click “Upcoming Events” and copy the link address. The format will be something like:
webcal://www.facebook.com/ical/u.php?uid=10046546578280866&key=AQAK8Ssdasdpg7-k
Replace webcal with https and use the Event Aggregator “iCalendar” option to import your Upcoming Events. Please note that this option won’t allow you to import event images.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
Patricia

MemberHi there,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still having problems to display your events!
To get started, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while accessing your events. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content.
I would also recommend you to run a Conflicts Test. You can start the test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the problem is solved after that. If you don’t want to make any changes to your live site, you can use a plugin like Duplicator to clone it/create a staging site and run the tests.
Let me know your test results and I’ll be happy to help you with the next steps!
Thanks,
Patricia
