MemberHi Ana,
Thanks for clarifying your requirements a bit here! You’ll need the following products to ensure that your organizers can submit their own events, add tickets to those events, and receive payment via their own PayPal accounts:
- The Events Calendar (free)
- Events Calendar PRO (optional)
- Event Tickets (free)
- Event Tickets Plus
- Community Events
- Community Tickets
You may wish to consider our Community Manager Bundle, which includes Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, Community Tickets, and Filter Bar, all at a discounted price compared to buying each plugin separately. This bundle is a great value for users with community-focused sites who want to get set up quickly and save a little money doing it! ๐
Let me know if you should have any other questions about any of our plugins or how they might work for your project! Cheers, and thanks so much again for your interest!

MemberHiย Shailesh,
I’m so sorry for the confusion here! The additional fields option is exclusive to Events Calendar PRO–you’ll see this tab in your plugin settings once Events Calendar PRO has been installed and activated on your site. For more information on this feature, you can refer to our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/
Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Olivia,
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’d be more than glad to help you decide if our Eventbrite Tickets plugin is right for you and your site. ๐
- Great question! Our Eventbrite Tickets add-on runs alongside The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO to add Eventbrite ticketing capabilities to events created for these calendar plugins. If you’d like to create an event without an associated ticket, simply create an event on your calendar as usual without adding any tickets. Your event will be published to your site’s calendar and will not be copied over to your Eventbrite account.
- After you’ve successfully installed and activated Eventbrite Tickets and paired the plugin with your Eventbrite account, you can sync an existing event to your Eventbrite account by simply adding an Eventbrite ticket to that event. You can read more about this process and its limitations on this forum post:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/export-from-events-calendar-pro-to-eventbrite/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHiย Iain,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here–happy to hear that you’re considering Event Tickets Plus for your next client project! ๐ Since Event Tickets Plus relies on your e-commerce platform of choice for all payment processing and order management tasks, most features that are supported by your selected platform, such as coupon codes, should work just fine. If you’re using WooCommerce, you might also consider adding on a WooCommerce extension that adds support for product bundles, such as this one:
https://woocommerce.com/products/product-bundles/
However, it’s worth noting that some WooCommerce extensions may not work with Event Tickets Plus out of the box, particularly if they rely on WooCommerce product pages for any of their functionality. If you need (or simply want) to have tickets use the default WooCommerce product pages, you can enable this feature with a bit of code–this Knowledgebase article provides some more information on how to do just that.

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Jason,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! I’m pleased to report that we absolutely do offer support for importing from Google Calendar (and a variety of other popular sources). Simply add on our Event Aggregator plugin to either the free version of The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, and you can begin importing Google Calendar events either as manual imports or on a regular schedule (weekly, monthly, and so on). You can read more about our Event Aggregator importing tool on its product page here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
Let me know if you should have any questions about this or any of our other products–I’d be glad to answer them for you! ๐ Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi LaVonne,
Thanks so much for your interest in Community Events! I’d be happy to see what I can do to answer your questions here! ๐
- Yes, it is possible to add additional fields for Community Events submissions. However, Events Calendar PRO may or may not be required depending on which method you select for achieving this. This forum post provides a couple of options for adding this functionality to your Community Events install:ย https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/additional-fields-2/
- I’m afraid that we don’t have any new information to share regarding the development of this feature at this time. Features that are confirmed for a future product update may see delays or longer development times for any number of reasons–rest assured that this feature is still a priority for our team, and we’re doing our best to make it available to all of our users as soon as possible! If you need this functionality for your site on a more immediate timeline, I’d suggest reaching out a third-party developer to obtain a quote for a custom build. Our list of customizers may be a helpful resource to this end!ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do for you. Cheers, and thanks again!

MemberHi Ana,
Thanks for following up! If you’re using Community Events and Community Tickets to allow event submissions and ticketing from other users, you can use the split payment option to have payment for ticket sales sent directly to the organizer’s PayPal account. For more information on how to set up this feature, check out the following articles in our Knowledgebase:
- New User Primer: Community Tickets –ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-tickets/
- Configuring Community Tickets –ย https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-community-tickets/

I hope those articles help to get you on your way! ๐ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Janice,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that we don’t have any recent news to share regarding the process of this feature, though I can confirm that it’s still being developed for a future product release! We’ll always share the latest updates regarding feature additions on the UserVoice forum page for that particular idea. If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ๐ We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Savannah,
Thanks for reaching out! WordPress’s bulk edit tool doesn’t allow for the editing of event start and end dates, but you can edit the dates of multiple events at once by using a third-party CSV import/export tool. Simply export your calendar events to CSV format (the tribe_events custom post type houses all The Events Calendar events), open the file in a spreadsheet application of your choice, and edit the dates specified for your desired events in the following fields:
- cf__EventStartDate (event start date in your event’s time zone)
- cf__EventEndDateย (event end date in your event’s time zone)
- cf__EventStartDateUTCย (event start date in UTC)
- cf__EventEndDateUTCย (event end date in UTC)
Once you’ve finished making your edits, you can import this CSV again using your preferred tool, and your changes should be applied to the events on your calendar.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! ๐

MemberHi there,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’m sorry to report that none of our plugins offer this type of booking functionality at this time, nor do we have any plans to add this functionality in the foreseeable future. ๐ You can read more about our decision on our UserVoice forums here:
For this particular project, I’d suggest looking into one of the existing booking solutions available for the WordPress platform. I’m so sorry again to disappoint–we truly appreciate your interest, and we hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you aboard for another project very soon!

MemberHi Hugh,
Thanks for reaching out! I’ve gone ahead and refunded this duplicate license for you, and you should see those funds returning to your account in no more than 5-10 business days. In the future, should you need to request a refund from us for any reason, you can do so right from our convenient form. Simply fill it out and submit, and we’ll take care of the rest!
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Let us know if there’s anything else that we can assist with at this time! ๐ Cheers, and thanks for your support!

MemberHi Ana,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’d be more than glad to try and answer these questions for you! ๐
- Our plugins The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO do not include ticketing functionality on their own. For this, you’ll need to add on Event Tickets (which provides core ticketing support) and Event Tickets Plus (which adds support for paid tickets). Event Tickets Plus works great with either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads for payment processing and order management.
- By default, site administrators can submit events, and payment options are provided by the e-commerce platform of your choice (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). You’ll configure those settings in your selected e-commerce plugin!
- Since all payment and order management is handled by your selected e-commerce platform, multiple currencies are supported only if the option is offered by the plugin. I’d suggest reviewing the documentation for your preferred plugin to see if this feature is available!
- Absolutely–links to specific events on your calendar can be shared just like any other web page. If you’d like to add a plugin for quicker social media sharing, most social media plugins that support custom post types should work just fine with our events.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out–so sorry for the mix-up here! It looks as though you requested to exchange your Community Events license for an Events Calendar PRO one in early July, then had a refund processed for Community Events by another team member on the subsequent day. This refund deactivated your original purchase of Community Events but left your exchanged Events Calendar PRO licensing intact. I’ve gone ahead and deactivated the duplicate license on your account, so you should be all set to continue using your one remaining active license. ๐
I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Are there any other questions that I can assist you with at this time? Let me know!
