    Hi Chris,

Thanks for getting in touch! We don’t offer any demo or trial versions of our products at this time–rather than rely on restrictive methods such as feature-limited trial downloads, we’ve chosen to instead provide a full 30-day refund policy for all of our plugins. Feel free to deploy the full versions of our products on your site and test the complete range of features at your disposal! Should you encounter any issues, you’ll have ready access to our premium support services, and we’ll be glad to process a refund for any reason within your 30-day trial should you decide Event Tickets Plus isn’t right for you.

Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here–I’d be more than glad to assist! ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again for reaching out!

    Hi Craig,

Thanks for reaching out! At this time, users can only renew or upgrade their license keys from their account, while license key downgrades must be processed manually by our support team. We’d be glad to assist you with that over in email! Would you mind taking a moment to reach out to us via the below form?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/

Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.

Thanks so much, and we’ll see you over in email! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Alok,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, there’s currently no way to make a group of RSVPs or tickets become available after another type has sold out. However, you can achieve this effect by manually editing your event. Simply edit the event to add a waiting list RSVP type once your main RSVP type is out of stock. Your original RSVP type will remain at its existing stock level, and you can set the stock amount to whatever you’d like for your waiting list. ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out! While we don’t offer any built-in settings for changing the display of our event tooltips on the default Month View of our calendars, you can modify the content that’s displayed inside each tooltip by customizing our plugin templates. Our Themer’s Guide contains all the information you should need to get started with duplicating and modifying templates:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

To change the content of our event tooltips, you’ll want to look for the tooltip.phpย template file, which is located atย /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/tooltip.php when navigating from your WordPress directory.

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Rich,

Thanks so much for your interest in Image Widget Plus! ๐Ÿ™‚ While Image Widget Plus does include support for clickable images in a gallery widget, the default layout does not employ a tiled display and instead uses a slideshow for presenting multiple images. You can see a few examples of this layout demonstrated on our Image Widget Plus product page here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-image-widget-plus/

Let me know if you should have any other questions about Image Widget Plus or any of our other plugin offerings–I’d be glad to assist! Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’d like to modify the output of your iCal feeds to remove the description field, you can achieve this with custom code using theย tribe_ical_feed_item filter. For more context on how to use this filter in your theme’s functions.php file, you can refer to the original source file for iCal exports, which is located in the plugin folder for The Events Calendar atย /the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/iCal.php. Please note that we aren’t able to provide code examples for this type of customization, nor can we guarantee that ICS files modified in this way will be compatible with ICS-supporting applications.

I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Vallis,

Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, there isn’t a straightforward way for automatically activating a specific ticket type once other ticket types have sold out. The best means for accomplishing this would likely be to publish your event with the correct stock amounts for your initial ticket types, then edit your event to add an additional ticket type once you’ve received email confirmation that all other tickets have sold out. Your e-commerce platform of choice should have an option for sending stock alerts via email to your administrator email address–if you’re not sure whether this feature is enabled for your site, I’d suggest reviewing the documentation for your preferred plugin.

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Teresa,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! It sounds like, indeed, our Event Aggregator tool would be an ideal solution for this problem. Using Event Aggregator, you can create one or more scheduled import tasks on Site B that will run at specified intervals (once each week, for example). Any new or modified events will be imported from Site A each time your import task runs! You can learn more about creating scheduled imports using Event Aggregator on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

As far as edits to existing events are concerned, you can determine how these are handled by changing your selection for the Event Update Authority setting. More information on this setting and the available options can also be found on our Knowledgebase:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

I hope that helps to get you started! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi AR,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Our premium ticketing solution, Event Tickets Plus, allows for users to create and sell tickets and provides tools for site administrators to manage their events and attendees. Event Tickets Plus pairs with an e-commerce plugin of your choice (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) for all payment processing and order management, so support for payment-related features such as coupons/discount codes will be limited to what’s provided by your selected platform.

Unfortunately, Event Tickets Plus does not include support for email notifications of the types of listed here (save order confirmations, which are sent with each order and include the digital ticket that was purchased). However, you may be able to implement some of this functionality using a third-party plugin such as Event Calendar Newsletter. If you’re interested in learning more about how this plugin integrates with our products, check out their website here:

    https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com

I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Jaime,

Thanks for following up! No problem–I’m more than glad to take any additional questions you might have! ๐Ÿ™‚

To embed a calendar feed on a page, do i need Events Calendar Pro to get the shortcodes? Or can i do it with the Events Calendar free + Aggregator?

Shortcodes such as the [tribe_events] shortcode, which allows for embedding of full calendar views into posts or pages, are exclusive to Events Calendar PRO. If you’re interested in using these shortcodes on your site, you’ll need to purchase licensing for Events Calendar PRO in addition to Event Aggregator.

The license is for one year. Does it mean that after one year the importing from iCloud calendars will stop working if i donโ€™t purchase a new license?

New Event Aggregator licenses include one year of service, updates, and premium support, beginning on your original date of purchase. After one year, you’ll lose your access to our premium forums for technical support, and any import tasks that you’ve scheduled will be put on pause. Happily, you can renew your existing licensing at any time before or after your first year is up, so there’s no need to purchase a new license each time! For more information on license renewals, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/renewing-your-license/

Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Robert,

Great question! If you’d like to change the display of page elements such as theme headers on your Community Events forms only, we’ve provided CSS classes and PHP template tags that will allow you to do just that. You can get more information on these features and how to use them on our Knowledgebase here:
