Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂

MemberHi Ian,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! This definitely doesn’t sound like intended behavior for our date filtering function, and we’d love to have our technical support team take a closer look! Would you mind taking a moment to open a new thread with some more details over on our WordPress.org support forum for The Events Calendar? One of our team members will be on hand to assist as soon as possible! 🙂

MemberHi Lucy,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! In the interest in allowing users to select the features that are most relevant to their projects, our premium plugins are offered as separate purchases, meaning that Events Calendar PRO does not include the discrete feature set of Event Aggregator (or vice-versa). By purchasing licenses for both plugins, you’ll gain access to the full set of features offered by both products, as well as a full year of updates (including new features) and premium support.
At $89 each for standard licensing, your total for the first year would be $178, though it’s worth noting that we do offer a renewal discount for returning customers! Users may also choose not to renew after their first year–your plugins will continue to work as before, though you will lose all access to product updates and support. (This does not apply to Event Aggregator, which relies on our servers for performing imports and will not function without active licensing in place.) More information regarding expired licenses can be found on our Knowledgebase here.
One last option that you might want to consider is our Importer Bundle–if you’re looking to pick up both Events Calendar PRO and Event Aggregator for a particular project, this bundle includes both of those plus our Filter Bar add-on, all at a considerable discount compared to buying each plugin individually. These bundles are a great way to get set up with a broad range of features quickly–to learn more, check out our Importer Bundle’s product page here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-importer/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberHi Kirsch,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide detailed support for issues related to the use of premium themes, as our support team members do not have access to these themes for testing purposes. By default, The Events Calendar will always install to the directory /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/. Any custom installations or theme-specific integrations that relocate the plugin files to a separate location are officially unsupported by us. I’d suggest reaching out to your theme’s developer for more information on how to remove your theme’s TEC integration and perform a clean install!
I’m so sorry that we’re not able to assist further here–we wish you the best of luck in getting things resolved, and we look forward to seeing you back here very soon! 🙂

MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here. If you’ve recently updated your client’s site to WordPress version 4.8.2, this issue is likely due to a bug that was discovered with this update. Our Tuesday hotfix and yesterday’s maintenance release both contain critical updates to address this problem–you should be able to update the free version of The Events Calendar and restore proper functionality to your calendar’s Month Views. 🙂
I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Henri,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’re looking to change the URLs for events that are listed on your full calendar views (such as the default Month View), this isn’t possible short of modifying our plugin code. Our calendars are designed to redirect to the single events that are generated with our custom post type. However, you always have the option of linking these single events to an internal page on your site. Simply enter the URL of your choice in the Website field when creating your event, and your users will be able to click through to the desired page for more information. 🙂
I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Dylan,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! No worries–you’ve come to the right place with your question today! 🙂 Our support forums are staffed by Modern Tribe team members who are more than happy to assist with inquiries related to our products. In our open pre-sales forum, all users are welcome to open new topics, search our history of topics for relevant threads, and even answer questions for other users. That said, we do work to ensure that all questions posted here receive a reply from a member of our products team.
Related to your question: if you’re looking to modify the display of your event posts, I’d suggest beginning with the resources available in our Themer’s Guide! This guide provides a handy list of all templates that are used by our plugin and includes plenty of tips and instructions on how to get started modifying these to suit your preferences. If you’ve ever done any sort of customization with WordPress themes, you should feel right at home here!

MemberHi Brown,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’re using a QR code scanning application on your phone or other smart device, you’ll want to ensure that your selected application will open web URLs in your phone’s default browser. From there, it’s simply a matter of logging in to your WordPress site using your phone’s browser before beginning to scan tickets. Your login information will be retained in your browser’s memory, and when you scan a ticket, you’ll be redirected back to the logged-in browser to complete your check-in.
More information about selecting a QR code scanning application, as well as our list of recommended apps, can be found on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/
I hope that helps to get you on your way! 🙂 Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi all,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here–I’m so sorry for the trouble here. We received multiple reports of problem relating to the display of events in Month View for users updating to WordPress version 4.8.2. This issue is thought to impact all previous versions of The Events Calendar and was addressed in a hotfix on Tuesday. We strongly recommend that all users update to the latest available version of The Events Calendar as soon as possible:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Users of previous versions of The Events Calendar who do not wish to upgrade are encouraged to downgrade to a known good version of WordPress or use an alternative view for displaying events, such as List View.
If you should continue to experience issues after upgrading to the latest version of The Events Calendar, we encourage you to open a new thread with the details of your problem and any troubleshooting steps that you’ve attempted! Users can receive technical support at either of the following locations:
- The Events Calendar users: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar
- Events Calendar PRO users: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/
I hope that helps to get you on your way! 🙂 Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Bruce,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience here–I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had some trouble with this setup! Based on your description, it sounds like the default tickets listing for Event Tickets Plus isn’t an ideal fit for this type of plugin. If you’re still interested in working with this combination of plugins, you might be interested in trying our method for selling tickets via the WooCommerce products page. Using WooCommerce’s own product pages allocates more space for each individual ticket and may restore proper functionality for extensions that aren’t supported by Event Tickets Plus!

Let us know if you should decide to give this approach a try! 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again!
