Cannot get events calendar to show

I am using the AitThemes.club Theme Solitudo. It has a built-in events element that installed with the Ait Elements Toolkit plugin. Unfortunately it doesn’t have the features required for my client such as time of day, reoccurring events and not showing events past the date.

I contacted them, and their reply:

Hello, which Elements and which custom post types theme use is defined in file ./ait-theme/config/@theme-configuration.php
You can remove custom post types (cpts) and elements which you do not want to use.

I did that, however, it did not solve the problem. Their events no longer override The Events Calendar but The Events Calendar does not show up on the events page.

H have tried cpts and elements – both, each one separately, removing the events page, replacing the events page, none of which work.

I am planning to use The Events Calendar Pro on this site as well as AitThemes Directory+.
