No problem, I’m glad you were able to get it working!

Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Feel free to open up a new thread if you run into any other issues.

Thanks for sharing that solution @jb1987! We are working on getting the official version updated, tested, and released, so as soon as that is out, we’ll post an update here.

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue…I just took a look at the page, and it looks like the events are private. However, Event Aggregator can currently only import from public events. Sorry for the bad news there!

If you are running into any issues with other imports for public events, can you please send me a link so that I can test it out on my end? I would also recommend updating to the current version of The Events Calendar (4.6.12). If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Timothy,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!

First, can you please send me the license key that you are trying to add (in a private reply) and let me know which plugin you’re trying to add it for? I see that you have a few licenses for different plugins associated with this account…I would also recommend taking a look at this article for more info on getting and adding your keys to your site.

Can you share your system info with me as well?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Dobie,

There is not a built-in way to display categories as icons. If you have another plugin on your site that does this, you would need to check to see if it works with custom post types. (Events are the “tribe_events” post type.)

Alternatively, you could do a customization – our themer’s guide is the place to start if you would like to give this a shot! If this is a feature that you would like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

While we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for third-party plugin integrations, if you can send me a link to the plugin that you are using to do this with other categories, I’ll be happy to take a look and see if there is anything that I can recommend!

One other thing I would note is that event categories are a taxonomy that exists only on events, but the tags that you can add to events are the same tags as are on posts. So, if the plugin works for tags, then you might want to try using those instead.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

That was true in the past, but we recently added PayPal support to Event Tickets – you can read more about this here. Event Tickets is free, so I would definitely recommend installing it on a test site to check it out! If you don’t have a testing environment, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

    Hi Robin,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Events Calendar Pro is separate from our ticketing plugins. Event Tickets (free) will let you sell tickets using a PayPal Business account. If you would like some more features, like collecting additional information from users during checkout or integrating with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads (which both offer PayPal integrations), then Event Tickets Plus will let you do this.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus or Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Darnell,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!

Can you first try running through the steps outlined in this article? These typically resolve 404 errors, but if not, then the next step would be to run through these steps to test for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

If you don’t find any conflicts, can you please send me a link to an event where this is occurring so that I can take a look?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Max,

    Thanks for clarifying!

I don’t see any current bug reports related to Google imports, so we would need to run through some troubleshooting steps to look into why the import stopped working. We are not able to provide technical support like this here in the Pre-Sales forum, so you would need to renew the license to be able to post over in our support forums. However, we do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you did give this a try and still have the same issues, we’ll be happy to issue you a refund 🙂

If you do go this route, please make sure to include the following when you post your support thread in our Event Aggregator forum so that we can help you out with this as quickly as possible:

I’m glad that this extension is helping! If this is a feature that you would like to see added in a future release, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

Are you referring to Filter Bar? I just tested this out on my end, and I did see that some of the filter labels in Filter Bar still said events. However, you can change these labels under Events > Settings > Filters. Can you give this a try and let me know if this works (or if you are referring to something else)?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

We are still working on this on our end, so we will get back to you as soon as possible with an update.

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

I took a look at the page you linked to and am seeing this error:

Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

So, it appears the referrer url is not setup correctly for your api.

It should look something like this:

    *.website.com/*

Can you double check this? This article has some more details on setting this up.

Please let me know if fixing that gets the map showing up!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Michael,

There is not an out-of-the-box way to send comp tickets, but you could create coupons to offer free/discounted tickets.

If this is a feature that you would like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
