    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

I tested this out in my local environment but was not able to recreate this issue. Can you first try clearing out the cache from within WP Super Cache? If you had this option enabled and then disabled it, it’s possible that you’re not seeing the current version of the page.

If that doesn’t make a difference, can you try running through these steps to check for any conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Make sure you have WP_DEBUG enabled and copy/paste any errors you see into your reply.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Abby,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

There is not any built-in functionality for users to indicate that they are interested in an event without registering. It looks like you may have tried to link to another post that was related to this topic, but if so, the link unfortunately did not come through.

RSVPs only come with two statuses – “Going” and “Not going”. If you go with Event Tickets Plus (even if you are only working with free tickets), then you will have options for when to generate attendee records and email the tickets to customers based on the order status (see screenshot).

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Paz,

I see that you are running the current version of The Events Calendar, but your version of Events Calendar Pro (4.4.5) is a bit outdated – the current version is 4.4.24.2. So, this could indeed be the cause of the 404s, and updating might solve the issue. However, I would also recommend running through the steps outlined here. These typically resolve 404s, but if there is an incompatibility issue between the two versions that you’re running, then would need to update.

I would also recommend running through these steps to test for conflicts between your theme and other plugins.

We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum, but if you do renew your license and are still running into this issue after updating Pro, then please let us know over in our Events Calendar Pro support forum. We’ll be happy to help you out with this over there!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry for the delay here…we typically do not have support available over the weekend – during the week, responses can typically take 24-48 hours (depending on the current volume of threads, which has been higher than normal this week), although we always try to respond sooner when possible!

I looked at the event that you linked to, but I am still not able to access it (see screenshot). Can you try logging out to see if you are still able to access it? If not, then Event Aggregator will not be able to access it either.

However, if there are no upcoming events, then this will also result in no events in the preview. Are there any other pages/events that this is happening with? If so, can you please send me the links to those as well so that I can test them out?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Nick!

There is not an out-of-the-box way to do this, but you could use a third-party plugin like Post Expirator with events. This will let you set posts to go back into “draft” status after a certain amount of time, which will remove them from the front end but not delete them.

If this is a feature that you would like to see added to The Events Calendar in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Arnaud,

I would first recommend adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display. These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme.

If this doesn’t make a difference, then you may need to add some CSS. While we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, if you can send me a link to an event where this is happening, I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can recommend.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Titus!

I would first recommend adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display. These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme.

If that doesn’t get you what you’re looking for, then your best bet would be to add some CSS. Try putting this in the Additional CSS area under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or to the style.css file of your child theme:

    .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-content {
    padding: 0px 30px;
    }

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! You can add text into the month view by doing a template override. Our themer’s guide has instructions on this, and the template you’ll need can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/content.php.

Alternatively, you could also use the tribe_events_after_header filter along with the tribe_is_month function to add content into the month view.

We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out with this. Can you check that:

    1. You have “Enable stock management” checked under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory
    2. You have not unchecked “Enable stock management at product level” on the WooCommerce product page for these tickets (see screenshot)

Please let me know if changing either of these fixes the issue on the front end.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Darnell,

I’m glad that the first issue is resolved! I took a look at the events you mentioned, and it looks like they are set to be “featured” events, which gives them a different background and some additional styling to help them stand out. You can remove this by unchecking the “Feature Event” option in the Event Options section on the event edit screen (see screenshot).

Can you give this a try and let me know if it fixes the issue for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Thanks for letting us know – I’m glad that you were able to find the source of the issue. I will do some testing on my end and log this for the developers to take a look at.

    Hello,

Adding tickets to products was originally available out of the box, but due to some issues that were being reported, it was later removed. However, you can add it back using the snippet in this post. Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Hi Lance,

Just wanted to give you an update on this – we were able to confirm this as a compatibility issue between the extension and the current versions of our plugins and are working on getting the extension updated. I unfortunately don’t have a timeline for you at the moment as to when a fix will be released. I do want to note that our extensions run on a different maintenance release schedule than our regular plugins…they are technically not supported, but we do want to keep them updated and providing value for our users. However, it may take a bit longer to get the updates released, as we need to prioritize work on our premium plugins.

I have linked this thread to our internal ticket – as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this is causing, but thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!
