My website is excelfl.org and I have the event calendar pro plugin. The events show up on the list or monthly views. however, when I go and select one of the events, mainly one of the days of the recurring events it gives a page not found error.
Please advise how to fix this.
In the two print screens attached I attempted to view the Excel Men’s Group event which occurs every third Sunday. But it gives a page not found error.

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!
Can you first try running through the steps outlined in this article? These typically resolve 404 errors, but if not, then the next step would be to run through these steps to test for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
If you don’t find any conflicts, can you please send me a link to an event where this is occurring so that I can take a look?

It was on the correct permalink setting. However, when I went to look at the errors that were occurring I could not recreate the issue. So I believe it is resolved. Our Calendar Pro subscription expired for several days. After I renewed it the issue was still occurring for previous recurring events. I guess now that the subscription has been renewed for a couple of days it fixed itself.
My one other question now is that on certain events like New Members Orientation on April 1st and Heart for the House on April 14th it has a blue background around the event in list view. I am not sure how to remove that or how this is happening. In the month view it occurs on 3/4, 3/10, 3/11, 3/16, and 3/17. I am not sure why this is happening or how to stop it.

I’m glad that the first issue is resolved! I took a look at the events you mentioned, and it looks like they are set to be “featured” events, which gives them a different background and some additional styling to help them stand out. You can remove this by unchecking the “Feature Event” option in the Event Options section on the event edit screen (see screenshot).
Can you give this a try and let me know if it fixes the issue for you?
