    Hi Alex,

Community Events will add a front-end form that will allow users to create events from the front end of the site, even with a subscriber account.

Regarding the notice at the top of the page, this is not something that comes with The Events Calendar, so it may be coming from your theme or another plugin. We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum, but you can post this issue in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. Testing for a conflict is the best place to start your troubleshooting.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Janice,

I just checked on this ticket, and it looks like the fix did not make it into the latest release. However, I do see that it is set to a high priority, so it will hopefully be released soon.

Although I don’t have an exact timeline for you at the moment, this thread is linked to our internal ticket for this issue, so we’ll let you know as soon as we have an update!

I do apologize for the inconvenience this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!

    Hi Andre,

I’m sorry that the events have slowed down…as a first step, I would recommend trying out some of the tips in this article. If this doesn’t help, then I would recommend installing the free Query Monitor plugin, which will provide some additional information (such as specific slow queries). If you see get any notices there on the events pages, please copy/paste them into your reply or send me a screenshot.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Awesome! It’s possible that a character was deleted somewhere the first time around, which can be a bit difficult to spot. Regardless, I’m glad that it’s working now!

I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you run into any other issues, feel free to open up a new thread 🙂

    Hi Irene,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Event Tickets now integrates with PayPal, so you can use that if you would like to sell tickets without using an ecommerce framework. If you would like to use an ecommerce framework (either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads) and get some extra features like being able to collect additional information from attendees, then Event Tickets Plus would be the way to go.

This post has some info on changing default text (like “tickets”).

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Keith,

This is a bit strange! Can you tell me how this profile page is being generated? Is it coming from your theme or another plugin, or is it a standard page that you created in the Pages section of your Dashboard?

Please also try running through these steps to see if there are any issues between Event Tickets Plus and something else on your site? If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Let me know what you find.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Ruta,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue…I just tested it out on my end, but I was not able to recreate this issue. Are any of the other filters returning incorrect results, or just the end date?

I would recommend running through these steps to check for any conflicts that might be happening with your theme or another plugin on your site. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply. If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Please let me know what you find!

This extension should add this info to the Orders page and to the new order email that admins get, but I just tested this out on my end and got the same thing as you. I went ahead and logged this in our system, as it looks like this extension needs to be updated.

Unfortunately I don’t have a timeline for you at the moment as to when this will be released, but I’ve linked this thread to our internal ticket for this. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. Please keep in mind that extensions are not part of our regular plugins. They are free, extra features that we put out when we can, but they are technically not supported. However, we do want to keep them up-to-date so that they can continue to provide value for our users! So, we are working on this, but it might take a bit longer than normal for this fix to come out, as we need to prioritize work on our base and premium plugins.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this updated!

    Hi Alex,

I’m sorry that you’re running into an error…I just tested this again on my end, but it’s working for me. Can you double check that the quotes copied over correctly? Sometimes they can be changed from straight quotes to curly quotes when copying code from the forums, which can result in errors.

    Hi Bryan,

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to change details like the venue for specific instances of a recurring event, although we are working on changing this for the future. I would recommend casting your vote for this feature request here, which helps us gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

For the time being, your best bet would be to duplicate the events as you mentioned before and then change any details as needed. You could also create the events as recurring and then break the events you need to change from the series. Just note that this will make them independent events, meaning that changes made to the series will no longer affect those events.

    Hi Anastasia,

It’s no problem if you are not able to set up a testing site with one of the TLDs listed in the article. You can either use the license on your staging site to start off with and then move it to your live site, or you can manually update the plugins on either your live site or your testing site. The plugins will not stop working if the license is removed, but you will not be able to update them automatically.

    Hi Stéphane,

I’m glad to hear that the plugins are working out for you so far!

There is not currently an out-of-the-box method to do this, so I would recommend going with the iframe. If you only want to embed the ticket section of the events page, then you might try preventing scrolling and setting a height and width – this page has some info on the attributes that you can use with iframes.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
