    Hi Byron,

    Thanks for reaching out!

For each order, the user will get one confirmation email (for the whole order) and a separate email with their tickets. With Event Tickets Plus, you can create custom fields to collect additional information from attendees (for each ticket purchased), so this would let you get the name of each guest.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to test Event Tickets Plus out! If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Alfonso,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

We do offer bundles, which let you save when purchasing multiple products at a time. When you say you want to create something like Eventbrite, do you mean the ability for users to create events and sell tickets for them on your site? If so, you can accomplish this with Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, and Community Tickets. Also, Eventbrite Tickets can be used with or without our other premium plugins – it just needs The Events Calendar to run. Are there any specific features you’re looking for?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi John,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You should be able to create multi-day events with both the free version as well as Events Calendar Pro. Additionally, Pro comes with the ability to create recurring events. Regarding the ticket price, you can sell tickets using Event Tickets Plus. Adding a ticket to a multi-day event (an event with a start date of 10/22 and an end date of 10/23, for example) is no problem, but please note that recurring events are limited in their support for tickets. You can add tickets to a series, but it will be the same ticket on every event in the series, not separate tickets for each date.

I hope that helps clear things up, but please do let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

With our free plugin The Events Calendar, you could definitely create admin accounts for users to be able to create events from the backend. If you would rather not give users admin access, Community Events will let users submit events from the front end of the site. It also lets you choose the status that these events go into, so you can have the opportunity to review and approve them prior to them being added to your site calendar.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with our products, so feel free to test out Community Events! If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Patric,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at the link, and I am seeing a button to add tickets to the cart. Were you able to get this part resolved, or are you referring to something else?

It also looks like you were able to get the issue with the currency symbol resolved? I am seeing the € symbol on my end (see screenshot).

Please let me know if there is anything else you need help with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Mitchell,

I’m sorry that updating didn’t help…Can you verify that you are still running into this issue with a default theme enabled and all other plugins disabled? Since I am not getting the same behavior on my end, I think there may be a conflict between our plugins and something else on your site.

If you haven’t done so already, you can test this out by following these instructions. If you don’t have a testing site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Charlie,

Community Tickets is actually an extension of Event Tickets Plus (which allows you to sell tickets on your site) that works with Community Events to allow users to add tickets to the events they create from the front end of your site. It also gives you some control over how the money from the sale of those tickets is distributed, including the ability to collect a fee on tickets sold. However, all of the payment processing is done through either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.

Community Events and Community Tickets are meant to allow users to be able to submit events to your site without having access to the backend. The payments are centered around selling tickets though, not the event creation itself, which is why I mentioned that our plugins are not really built to handle reservation or booking-type functionality. You could potentially create tickets for certain time slots and set the quantity available for each ticket to 1, which would ensure that the venue wasn’t double-booked, but this could be extremely tedious depending on how often the venue will be available.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Luca,

I actually meant to say the theme author – sorry about that! We are indeed the plugin authors, but it looks like your theme is built to work with our plugins in a certain way. Since you mentioned that photo view is working properly with a default theme enabled, it sounds like the problem is with the theme itself.

I’m glad to hear you were able to get this resolved though! If you have any other questions or run into any other issues, please feel free to open up a new thread!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Nicholas,

Can you please send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing under Events > Import? Are you seeing any options in the Import Origin dropdown besides “CSV”? You mentioned that you are not able to import from Facebook, iCal, or Google…have you tried importing and gotten an error, or are you not able to enter the URLs at all?

    Hi Luca,

I’m glad you were able to find the source of the issue! However, I think your best bet would be to contact the plugin author directly…Since the theme came with our plugins installed, they may have some customizations running that are changing some of our default functionality.

I’m sorry I don’t have a quick solution for you here, but I hope they are able to help you figure out what’s going on! Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else that I can help you with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Charlie,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Community Events lets users create events from the front end of the site, but it does not include any “validation” functionality that could be used to verify that a venue has not already been booked when a user is creating an event. However, it does allow you to select the status that events go into when they are submitted, so you could select “Draft”, which would allow you to review and approve events before they are added to your site calendar.

Another factor here though is how to charge for users submitting events. There is not currently any built-in functionality in Community Events that would allow you to do so, but you may be able to do it in conjunction with the S2 Framework plugin. I’m not familiar with it, but events are custom post types…if the plugin supports those, you may be able to use the two together.

I think the best way to figure out if this will work for you is to test it out. The Events Calendar and Community Events are not built to be reservation plugins, but using them in conjunction with your membership plugin, you might be able to get them to work the way you want them to. We offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to do a test run! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Mitchell,

Thanks for reaching out! I took a look at your site and see what you mean. I did some testing, but I was not able to recreate this on my end. I also noticed that your plugin versions are a little bit out of date. The current versions are:

    The Events Calendar: 4.6.2

    The Events Calendar PRO: 4.4.18

    The Events Calendar: 4.5.1

Could you try updating to the current versions and see if that resolves the issue? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.

Let me know if that works!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Rene,

Those settings should apply to both regular and recurring events – we currently don’t have separate settings for styling recurring events. However, it looks like in this case the event meta is being wrapped with a link (see screenshot). This isn’t something that we do within our plugins, so I believe this is coming from your theme. In fact, it looks like that entire section on your homepage is actually being generated by the theme rather than from our plugin, in which case changing the template settings for events would not affect this section.

I think you may need to reach out to the theme author directly for help on editing that section. I’m sorry I don’t have a solution for you here, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
