    Hi Nacho,

Payment processing will be handled through WooCommerce, which does integrate with Stripe 🙂 We’ll let you know when we have further news!

    Hello,

I completely understand where you’re coming from here – unfortunately I don’t have an ETA that yet that I can give you on this, but what I can do is either extend your current license for a few months or issue a refund and you can repurchase Event Aggregator when this is resolved (you’ll be notified here).

If you would like to go with one of these options, just let me know, and I’ll get it taken care of for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Alex,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you out.

The featured image should be displayed in a tooltip when you hover over an event in month view; you can see how this looks by default hereon our demo site. I took a look at your site, and the tooltips are not appearing.

As a first step, can you try adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settingsunder Events > Settings > Display. These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme. Make sure to clear out your browser cache and any server/site caching you might be doing – you’ll also want to disable the month view cache by unchecking the Events > Settings > Enable the Month View Cache setting.

If that doesn’t make a difference, the next step would be to run through the instructions outlined hereto check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. Make sure to have WP_DEBUGenabled and copy/paste any errors that you see here.

Can you also share your full system infowith me?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Joshua!

I just checked on our internal ticket for this, and unfortunately I don’t have an update for you yet. I linked this thread to that ticket, so as soon as we have some news, we’ll let you know here! I will also check and see if I can get it added to the known issues page.

I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Nacho,

Thanks for checking out our plugins! Community Events does allow users to submit events from the front end, but there is not currently a way to charge them to submit events. You do have the option to require users to be logged in to submit events, so one workaround would be to use Community Events in conjunction with a membership plugin, and you could handle charging users for membership from within that plugin.

However, the ability to charge users to submit events is actually something that we are currently working on. I’ve linked this thread to our internal ticket for this, so as soon as we have an update on this, we’ll let you know here!

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I apologize for the delay – our forums have been much busier than normal this week, but please note that it can take 24-48 hours for a response (although we always try to respond much sooner when possible!).

It looks like you have a link to our old documentation site – you can find the current documentation here. Our themer’s guide is the place to start when doing customizations – essentially you’ll want to copy the email.php file (found at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets) into your child theme, and you can add in the description from there.

We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to try to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Finn,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that the current recurring functionality isn’t meeting the needs of your site…the way recurring events currently work is that the recurring instances are essentially copies of the original event but with different dates/times. The other info (venues, tickets, organizers, etc.) will be the same for all instances in the series. Without doing some heavy code customizations, there is unfortunately not a way to change these details on individual dates in the series. Sorry for the bad news there!

You are correct that several other users have requested similar functionality, and this is something that we are working to build out for the future. This will involve major code changes on our end, so unfortunately I don’t have any ETA I can give you as to when this type of functionality will be released. In the meantime, an alternative to recurring events might be to use a plugin like Post Duplicator, which allows you to create copies of posts like events (although I do not believe that this will copy the tickets).

If you would like help diving into the code, we do have a list of recommended developers that you could contact. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer that I can give you at the moment – I completely understand where you’re coming from, and we do hope to get this functionality released sometime in the future! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for clarifying that! It looks like you would want to link the user directly to the single event page, which appears to be what you are attempting to do based on the part of the URL that I can see in your screenshot. When you say that it doesn’t work on mobile devices, what is going wrong? Is there a problem with getting the page to load or does it not look right once it does? Can you please send me a link directly to the single event page that you’re adding to Facebook so that I can test it out on my end?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for running through those steps! I’m glad that you were able to find the source of the issue…it looks like some users were able to get everything working by adjusting some of the settings within Yoast, such as the “Text Link Counter”. Can you try adjusting your settings as well to see if that makes a difference?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I just tested out the snippet in my local environment, and it is removing the link on my end. Can you make sure that you’ve cleared out your browser cache and any caching that you might be doing on your site (on your server or via a plugin)? Can you also share your full system info with me?

    Hi Betsi,

I put in a request for the team to check under that name, so I will let you know if we are able to find it. If not, then you can go ahead and submit a new one – let me know as soon as you do, and I can verify that we have received it!

We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum (please note that the free licenses are also unsupported), but this article might help you out.

Thanks for running those updates! You’ll also want to clear out any caching that you might be doing on your site (on your server or via a plugin). Next, try running through the steps outlined here to see if any of these resolve the 404.

If not, then the next step would be to run through these instructions (or use a plugin like Health Check) to check for any conflicts that might be occurring with your theme or another plugin. This basically means dropping down to a completely default environment (all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro disabled and a default theme like Twentyseventeen enabled) to see if the issue is still occurring. If not, then you can re-enable the other elements on your site one at a time to see when the issue reappears. Please make sure to have WP_DEBUG enabled during testing and copy/paste any errors that you see into your reply.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for reaching out! This should work for previously created orders.

I just tested this out on my end, and I am also not seeing the event info on the edit order screen. I am able to see it in other places, such as the My Account > Orders page – are you seeing this on your end as well?

I logged this for our developers to take a look at, and we’ll let you know here as soon as we have an update. However, please note that our free extensions are not supported in the same way as our premium plugins. We do our best to fix issues when they pop up, but I don’t have an ETA that I can give you as to when we’ll have an update.

I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on this!

    Jennifer
