Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
There is typically a separator between the events in month view, but the theme does affect the styling of the calendar to some degree. Can you try adjusting the Default stylesheet used for events templates and Events template settings under Events > Settings > Display and see if that makes a difference?
To rename the button, you can follow the instructions in this guide, use a third party plugin like Say What, or use the tribe_events_ical_single_event_links filter (found in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/iCal.php).
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is not an out of the box way to add in this option; doing so would require some customization. If you’d like to give it a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start. We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to have the code done for you.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but if you have any questions or get stuck with the code, please let me know. I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterThanks for clarifying!
We are not able to login to user sites, but if you have hundreds of venues and organizers that are being pulled into the menu options, that can definitely slow down the page. Can you try going to the top of that screen, expanding the “Screen Options” menu, and unchecking venues and organizers? That should remove them from the options. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterI’m glad to hear you got it working! Events Calendar Pro extends The Events Calendar, so you do indeed need both activated at the same time. I’m sorry this was so much trouble, but I’m glad it’s working the way you want it to now!
If there’s anything else I can help you with, please just let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Shah,
Thanks for reaching out!
With Community Tickets + Community Events, users can create and sell tickets directly on your site, all from the front end – no need to give organizers admin access. You can then choose how you would like to divide up the money from ticket sales. It can all go to you as the site admin, all to the organizer via PayPal, or you can keep a fee and send the remainder to the organizers. This article has some more information on how that works. With this option, you would need to purchase Community Tickets, Community Events, and Event Tickets Plus (in order to be able to sell tickets directly on your site). If you’re interested in this option, make sure to check out our Community Manager Bundle!
With Eventbrite Tickets, you can import events from Eventbrite, sync events with Eventbrite, and publish events from your site to your eventbrite.com account. While tickets will show up on your site’s events pages, users will be taken to eventbrite.com to purchase them.
So, as far as which is best for you, it really depends on if you want organizers to create events and sell tickets directly on your site, or if you would rather bring in events and have tickets handled through Eventbrite.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to try out any of our plugins to see which ones you like best! If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry to hear Event Aggregator’s not working out for you, but I’m glad you’re liking our other plugins so far! Please fill out the form on this page, and we’ll be happy to process the refund for you.

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry to hear things are running slowly for you! I took a look at your site but was not able to see the left hand menu you are referring to. The bar on the left was completely empty – looks like you need to be logged in to see it? However, if you have hundreds of items in the menu, events or not, that can certainly slow things down!
I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some events-related tips on improving performance on your site. Another way to track down the culprit would be to install the Query Monitor plugin and check for slow queries. If you find any, please let me know (you can send a screenshot or copy/paste), and I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mayur,
Thanks for reaching out! The list view actually should display the featured image by default (for posts that have them). You can see the out-of-the-box layout over on our demo site at wpshindig.com. With Events Calendar Pro, you can also display events in photo view, both on your main events page and using the shortcodes. It sounds like you may be using Pro already? If so and you need further assistance with this, can you please post this issue over in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 10, 2017 at 11:09 pm in reply to: Simple page with public list of Attendees of a particular event #1380432Jennifer
KeymasterHi Pablo!
Are you looking to display all attendees for all events on one page, or do you want to create multiple pages that each display the attendees for a particular event?
This will likely require a customization, in which case our themer’s guide will be the place to start. However, if you can provide some more details on exactly what you’re looking for, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Paul,
I just checked your license and you are correct – everything looks good on this end. You’re all set with Pro until March 2018. Can you double check that your license keys are entered in the correct boxes under Events > Settings > Licenses? You can see which license is for which product here. It is actually very common for these to be entered into the wrong box and can result in erroneous license messages being displayed.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue, can you please share your system information with me?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Emanuela,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
You are correct that recurring events are a feature of Events Calendar Pro, and importing from Facebook/Google is actually part of Event Aggregator. There is not currently another way to set up recurring events on your site. Without Event Aggregator, you can still import from CSV files, but not from Facebook or Google. We do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program that offers free versions of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved 501(c)3 and 501(c)19 organizations, but unfortunately that does not cover organizations that are not registered within the United States.
We do occasionally offer other promotions, so you might want to subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed on any upcoming discounts! If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 10, 2017 at 10:44 pm in reply to: Old events still displayed on Ipad but not with Windows #1380426Jennifer
KeymasterHi Robert,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into these issues! It looks like you’re running an older version of The Events Calendar. Could you try updating to the latest version (4.6.4) and see if that makes a difference? If you don’t see a prompt to download in the Plugins section, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
The next step would be testing for a conflict with your theme and other plugins. Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers, and you can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.
If you would like to renew, you’ll have access to post in our premium forums, where we provide in-depth support and can help you troubleshoot this further. We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so if it doesn’t work out for you, we’ll be happy to give you your money back!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 10, 2017 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Event Preview Image Displays at 225%, tribe-events-full.min.css displays 100% #1380412Jennifer
KeymasterHi Nick,
Thanks for sharing that screenshot! I was testing on a Mac (Safari and Chrome), but I just checked on Windows and am seeing the larger images on IE, Chrome, and Firefox. Can you tell me what browser you’re using and if you see the same thing by switching to a different browser?
Regarding Mathew’s suggestion, you could also try reinstalling The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro by following these instructions, which will make sure that all plugin files are the originals.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 10, 2017 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Embed Ads in Single Event and Main Calander List or Photo View? #1380411Jennifer
KeymasterHi Wendy,
Thanks for reaching out!
If your theme has a sidebar by default, you might be able to get it into your events pages as well by adjusting the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display, which affect how much the events pages inherit their styling/layout from the theme. You could also try a custom sidebar plugin that supports custom post types (events are of the tribe_events post type). I did a quick search and found this one and this one (haven’t tested them out though). Another option would be to edit the events view templates directly by following these instructions.
You can include events in your main blog loop (Events > Settings > General > Include events in main blog loop), but adding ads in with other events would require a bit more customization, especially to get them to look like the other events. Your best bet would probably be to create the ads as events, add an “ad” category to them, and then create custom styles for that particular category, or modify the queries to exclude that category for certain calendar views where you do (or don’t) want them to display. If you go this route, our functions list will be very useful!
We currently don’t do customizations like this, but I’m more than happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction if you get stuck with the code! We also have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you’d like to have the code done for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
