KeymasterHi Osman,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue with the shortcodes. I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license. However, please note that we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for plugin conflicts.
The user in this post reported a similar issue, so I would also recommend taking a look at that thread as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Colby,
Indeed it can. Additional fields will show up as options that you can enable or disable in Filter Bar (see screenshot). Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Chris,
There is not currently an option to hide the tickets remaining, but you can do so with the snippet from this post. Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi David,
You can change the default status for community events to “draft” (under Events > Settings > Community), which will give you the chance to review submissions and check for spam before they are published to your site. You can also enable admin email notifications when new events are submitted (also under Events > Settings > Community). However, adding the IP address would require a customization, which is a bit outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in the forums.
If you would like to give it a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start! We also have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you would like to have the code done for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Kurc!
If your current license has expired, then you can go ahead and purchase a new license, which will generate a new key for you. You can then replace your existing key with the new one, and you’ll be good to go.
If you need to get into an existing account, please reach out to us via the form on our Contact page and select “Help accessing my account”. We’ll see what we can do to help!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Stefan,
I’m glad to hear that you were able to get this resolved! I haven’t seen any other users reporting this same issue, but if you run into any further problems, please feel free to open up a new thread. We’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on! Since this thread has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Nicolas,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with tickets…could you please send me a link to an event where this is happening so that I can take a look and see what’s going on?
If you haven’t done so already, I would also recommend testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins to see if there is something else on your site that may not be getting along well with one of our plugins.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ed,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
You do not need Events Calendar Pro to use Community Events, which allows users to submit events from the front end of your site. We do offer free versions of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved nonprofit organizations as part of our Nonprofit Partnership Program, so if you are interested in Pro as well, please do apply!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Dale,
I’m sorry the automatic update isn’t working for you…we have had a few other users reporting this same issue and are currently looking into what might be causing it.
In the meantime, you should be able to update manually by following these instructions. Please let me know if this works!
Thanks,

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
Just to clarify, are you adding tickets to a recurring event (an event that repeats on 5 other days) or to a multi-day event (an event that lasts 6 consecutive days)?
Can you please send me a link to this event, along with your system info, so that I can take a look?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi James,
Unfortunately this feature has not yet been added to Event Tickets Plus. I don’t have a timeline yet as to when it will be implemented, but I would recommend casting your vote for the feature request (if you haven’t done so already) so that you can stay up to date on progress.
In the meantime, you might look into hosting your events on Eventbrite (which I believe does provide the recurring event and ticket functionality you are looking for) and switching over to Eventbrite Tickets. After setting up the events on eventbrite.com, you could then import them into your site. In this case, ticket sales would be handled through eventbrite.com.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution for you at the moment – this is however a highly requested feature, and we are working on getting it rolled out as soon as we can. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterThanks for running through those steps! I don’t see any other users currently reporting this issue, so I’d like to do some further testing on my end. It looks like you’ve disabled week view on your live site. If you don’t want to have it active on your live site until we get this resolved, would you be able to send me a link to your staging site with week view enabled? If you don’t have one already, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Please make sure that you’re using a default theme on the staging site with all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro deactivated.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Alana,
Thanks for sending that over! There was a bug in Events Calendar Pro 4.4.20 that was causing events to display out of order in some circumstances.
Can you try updating to the most version of Events Calendar Pro (4.4.20.1) and see if that resolves this? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
If not, then the next step would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins.
Let me know what you find!
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Gordon,
Thanks for sending that over! It looks like you’re running an older version of Events Calendar Pro (4.3), which is where the week view feature comes from. Can you try updating and see if that will solve the issue again? The current version is 4.4.20.1. If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
I would also recommend updating Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus (both are currently at 4.6.2).
Your WordPress version is at 4.8.4 – the current version is 4.9.1, so I would recommend updating that as well. Since some of these versions are quite a bit older, it would be a good idea to make all of these updates in a testing environment before updating on your live site. The free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing if you don’t have a staging site already.
Let me know if this helps.

KeymasterTo change the number of tickets sold, there is not currently a way to do this from the front end. I would recommend taking a look at this article, which has some good info on how cancelled ticket orders work.
A better solution for testing might be to create the test event and then use a plugin like Post Duplicator to make a copy that you’ll use as the live event, then delete the test event. You would need to re-add the tickets though (there is not currently a way to copy the event with the tickets attached).
I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution for you here, but if this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we really would appreciate it if you would let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
Thanks,
Jennifer
