KeymasterOnce you install and activate the plugin, you’ll be able to start using the features – no additional transition required! This article should help you get up and running with Pro.
Our free licenses are unsupported, but if you do purchase a premium license, you’ll have access to our premium support forums, where we’ll be happy to help you if you run into any issues.

KeymasterHi Philip,
I’m sorry about the delayed response here! I would first recommend making sure that you are running the latest versions of WordPress (4.9.1) and our plugins – The Events Calendar 4.6.8, Events Calendar Pro 4.4.20.1, and Community Events 4.5.8.
Since I haven’t seen any other users reporting the same issue with this theme, updating might solve the issue. If not, we are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for theme conflicts, but I would like to help you get this resolved – could you please send a copy of your theme (as a Dropbox link) so that I can test it out on my end? Please make sure to share your system info with me as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Eric,
I’m sorry for the delayed response here…Do you have the “Hide location search” option (right below the “Disable the Event Search Bar” option) checked? If so, then the “Near” field will also be hidden.
If you have it unchecked and the field is still hidden, can you please share your system info with me so that I can take a look and see what’s going on?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Rion,
Sorry about the delayed response here! Can you try updating to the latest version of Events Calendar Pro (4.4.20.1) and WordPress (4.9.1) and see if that makes a difference? If not, can you send me a screenshot of the event details for one of the imported events, along with its permalink so that I can take a look?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Bill,
The Events Calendar actually doesn’t deal with usernames and passwords. Some of our other plugins, like Event Tickets Plus and Community Events, have settings that allow you to require users to be logged in to do things within the plugin like purchase tickets or create events, but they use the standard WordPress accounts – no separate usernames/passwords.
If you have any other questions or I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Christian,
Thanks for checking out Events Calendar Pro!
I think your best bet would be to create categories for the towns, which would allow you to display them on your town pages (or display a link to a page with the widget/shortcode) with a widget or a shortcode (you can filter by category). You could also create a venue for each town, as venues and organizers in Pro have their own pages which automatically display upcoming events by default. However, this would not be ideal if you want to list the precise venue name and address for each event.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Pro for a test run to make sure that it will work the way you need it to, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Steve,
I’m glad the layout issues are resolved! CSS customizations are really outside the scope of support that we typically provide here in the forums, but we try to help out when we can. Try adding the following:
.tribe-mini-calendar-event .list-date .list-dayname {
background-color: #214ea4;
color: #fff;
}Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi George,
No worries, thanks for opening up a new thread! I replied to your original post, but I’ll post my reply here too:
We currently only sell our plugins here on theeventscalendar.com, so any other sources would not be legitimate resellers. We do occasionally run promotions for our plugins, so I would recommend subscribing to our newsletter if you’re interested in discounts! We also have some great bundles available if you’re looking at purchasing more than one of our plugins.
As part of your premium license, you would also have access to premium support, which is a feature that would not be included if you purchased the plugins from another source.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

(I also removed the keys from your original post, since this is a public forum).
