error on update to latest version

    hi there,
    i am getting the following error msg. when i try to update EC pro to latest version.
    Updating Plugin The Events Calendar PRO (1/1)

    An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: Download failed. cURL error 61: Unrecognized content encoding type. libcurl understands deflate, gzip content encodings.

    Disabling Maintenance mode…

    All updates have been completed.

    I have updated this site successfully on a dev. site on my sitedistrict.com server but it won’t update properly on this hosting triple8.net

    I have updated the license key to  and my site, strategicfacilitation.com has registered this license key,
    The Events Calendar PRO
    License Key

    Valid Key! Expires on 2018-12-19

    never mind, I think the server was out of space. I deleted some themes and plugins and manually uploaded the new plugin. all works fine now.

    Hi Eve,

    I’m glad to hear that you were able to update manually! We have had a few other users reporting this same issue and are currently looking into what might be causing it. Sorry for the inconvenience here!
