Community events

I run a non profit site for the forest of dean. I’m interested in the community add on to allow users to put their own events on line. Do I need the pro version. I’d like recurring events but the 2 plug ins are a lot of money.

You do not need Events Calendar Pro to use Community Events, which allows users to submit events from the front end of your site. We do offer free versions of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved nonprofit organizations as part of our Nonprofit Partnership Program, so if you are interested in Pro as well, please do apply!

Once you install and activate the plugin, you’ll be able to start using the features – no additional transition required! This article should help you get up and running with Pro.

Our free licenses are unsupported, but if you do purchase a premium license, you’ll have access to our premium support forums, where we’ll be happy to help you if you run into any issues.
