ParticipantHi There,
Its nearlt been 2 years since I forst asked about this, and it has always been in the pipeline.
Just wondering if there is functionality added yet to handle recurring events, and have them as seperate tickets for each event.
My client has a recurring show with a set capacity that runs all year round. Hence why the need for it!
If you still dont have it, would you know any other plugins that do? It would seem a shame as I really like all other aspects of your plugins
Cheers

KeymasterHi James,
Unfortunately this feature has not yet been added to Event Tickets Plus. I don’t have a timeline yet as to when it will be implemented, but I would recommend casting your vote for the feature request (if you haven’t done so already) so that you can stay up to date on progress.
In the meantime, you might look into hosting your events on Eventbrite (which I believe does provide the recurring event and ticket functionality you are looking for) and switching over to Eventbrite Tickets. After setting up the events on eventbrite.com, you could then import them into your site. In this case, ticket sales would be handled through eventbrite.com.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution for you at the moment – this is however a highly requested feature, and we are working on getting it rolled out as soon as we can. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jitender,
See below from the plagin support. It looks like they still have not added
this feature (to allow recurring events have a separate ticket pool to
allow capacity to work, so it seems wrong to have to bulk add all the
events and then break them out)Can you add a test date to the 31st Jan 2018 for my client to test.
Can we also review any other plugins to do this; we basically have an event
(the same show for every night) and need to have the ability to bulk add
dates and manage them (i.e add offline and partner orders, which will
reduce the capacity)January 8, 2018 at 2:52 am #1420256James
ParticipantHi Sorry the last reply was not for you!
It’s very disappointing to hear that after over 2 years this is still not
complete! On the thread, there seems to be a lot of people calling for it, its
functionality in my opinion that should be in your offering.January 8, 2018 at 8:54 am #1420490Jennifer
KeymasterHi James,
I definitely understand where you’re coming from, and you are correct that there are many users who have been asking about this feature. From a development standpoint, it’s a bit more complicated than it may seem, and with limited resources and several other things also in the works (bug fixes, additional features, performance enhancements, etc.), it hasn’t made it into a release yet.
But we are definitely working on it, and as soon as we have an update, we’ll post it on the feature request. I hope you are able to find a solution that works for you and your client in the meantime, and please let me know if there is anything else that I can help with!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
