KeymasterHi Arnaud!
If you do not renew the license, you will no longer be able to update the plugin or post in the premium support forums, but the plugin will continue to function on your site as before. However, if you continue updating WordPress and other plugins on your site but do not update Pro, you may eventually run into compatibility issues.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mona,
Since we adhere to WordPress best practices when writing our plugins, they typically play pretty well with other themes and plugins that do the same (this article has some additional info on theme compatibility). However, with so many different themes and plugins out there, there are certainly cases where conflicts arise. I took a look through some of our past threads but didn’t see any reports of conflicts with this particular theme.
It sounds like you were trying to display the calendar on the home page…were you not able to get it to display? Also, did your developer mention in what way the theme and plugin are incompatible?
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for theme conflicts, but if you can provide some more details on what isn’t working (and send me any errors you might be encountering), I’d be happy to run this by one of our developers and see if there is anything we can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi there!
Are you possibly referring to Image Widget Plus? If so, it currently only supports images, not videos or overlays. If you have any other questions on it, please let me know!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Dan,
By default, the organizer details should show on the single organizer pages. However, these can sometimes be hidden depending on the theme that you’re using. Just to verify that this is what’s happening, can you try switching to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen to see if the details show up?
I took a look at the page you linked to, and it appears that it is using your theme’s archive template. You can try changing the Events template setting under Events > Settings > Display to “Default events template” to see if that gets the organizer details showing. If not, you can do a customization to add the details in. If you go this route, our themer’s guide and functions list are the place to start!
Please let me know how it goes and if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
This article has a snippet that you can add to change strings, or you could also try a plugin like Say What. Or, you could also customize the templates where you want to change the text – for example in map view, the template can be found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/map/single-event.php. Our themer’s guide has instructions on how to customize templates.
Please let me know if this works and if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
You can indeed move your current license! This article has instructions on doing this. Can you give it a try and let me know if it works for you?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Andrei,
I’m not familiar with BuzzBoost, but it looks like the RSS feed is what you need. This article goes over how the events feed works. If you have any questions on the RSS feed, please let me know.
Regarding embedding the calendar, I suppose you could do this with an iframe. This is a bit outside the scope of the support that we are able to provide here in the forums, but if you have any follow-up questions on this, please don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll be happy to see what I can do to point you in the right direction 🙂

KeymasterHi Sarah,
Thanks for sending the screenshots! I see that you have The Events Calendar deactivated. Events Calendar Pro actually extends The Events Calendar (instead of replacing it), and it does need to be activated for Pro to work. Can you try activating it and see if that gets the events showing up in the left sidebar?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Eric,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on. Can you please share your system info with me, along with a screenshot of what you see in the tickets section of the event edit screen?
I’m also not quite sure what you’re referring to when you mention linking to payday…Event Tickets Plus does require either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads – if you don’t have one of these installed and activated, can you do that and see if you are then able to add tickets?
Finally, I would recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some great info on getting up and running with Event Tickets Plus:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license – however, please note that we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers – this article in particular might be helpful. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Peter,
I took a look at both links, and I am seeing the same info in photo view on both pages  – were you able to get this figured out? If not, then you can customize the template for photo view by following the instructions here. The template you’ll want to copy can be found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/photo/single-event.php.
Let me know if you need any further assistance with this!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
We do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program, which offers free versions of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved organizations (although please note that our free licenses do not include premium support as our paid licenses do). In order to apply, you do need to be a 501(c)3 or 501(c)19 organization, so unfortunately this only applies to organizations within the United States.
If you are a US organization, then please submit an application here, and we will get back to you as soon as we can!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Andrei,
The navigation is actually displayed at the bottom of the photo view by default (see photo view in our demo site for the default styles), but the Enfold theme applies its own styling to our plugin. However, you can modify the template from within the theme (this article should be helpful in doing that), or you can disable their templates entirely and use the defaults (see this post).
Let me know if this helps!

KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on! We did just release versions 4.6.9 of The Events Calendar and 4.4.21 of Events Calendar Pro. Can you update to the current versions?
Is this a recurring event or a single event? If it’s recurring, can you please send me a screenshot of the recurrence rules?
Also, when you say it started replicating, did you suddenly have duplicates, or did they continue duplicating over a period of time?
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
If you want users to register for free events, then Event Tickets will let you do this. If you want to sell tickets, you would need Event Tickets Plus.
With Event Tickets, you can change the registration confirmation via a customization (see our themer’s guide for more info on customizing our plugins), but for paid tickets, the checkout and payment processing is handled entirely through either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads. So, changing the confirmation or “thank you” page after a user completes an order would need to  be done within the ecommerce plugin that you choose to use.
As far as other solutions, we do have an extension called Eventbrite Tickets. This lets you sync events to/from eventbrite.com, and in this case, ticket sales are handled within Eventbrite. Tickets will appear on the event on your site, but if a user clicks to purchase, they will be taken to Eventbrite to complete the purchase.
If you’re interested in allowing users to post events and sell tickets on your site, I would recommend taking a look at Community Events and Community Tickets.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to test out any of our premium extensions, feel free to do so! The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are both free, so I would definitely recommend installing them in a test environment to get a feel for how they work. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
