Plugin not appearing in left admin bar in WordPress

Just installed the Calendar PRO plugin and it is not appearing in the left sidebar on the dashboard, even after activating the plugin on the plugins page and ensuring I have the most recent version installed. I have a notice saying to ensure I have the latest version installed, but I follow the link, and that says I have the most recent version installed. See my screenshots.

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for sending the screenshots! I see that you have The Events Calendar deactivated. Events Calendar Pro actually extends The Events Calendar (instead of replacing it), and it does need to be activated for Pro to work. Can you try activating it and see if that gets the events showing up in the left sidebar?
