    Hi Dennis,

I apologize for not answering sooner, as I assume that your event has since past.

Anyway, it looks like all of your CSV numbers were correct, which is great!

If you are having a separate issue, I’d recommend opening a new thread.  Also, if there was a payment issue, this may be a question for WooCommerce, though I’d be happy to take a look as well.

This thread is still marked as Pending Fix, so you will be notified when an official fix for your issue has been released.

Again, please feel free to open a new thread with any additional issues.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brad,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are seeing an issue with the new preview release versions.  Unfortunately, as mentioned in the email that you received, we cannot offer support on these plugins at this time, as they are still undergoing some testing before being officially released.

As for version 4.7 of The Events Calendar, that must have been an oversight on our end, because that version does not exist yet.

We look forward to assisting you as soon as they are officially released!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Preethi,

    Thanks for reaching out again!

Although a fix was released for one of your issues, there is still an open issue for a bug related to your thread.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.  I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.  They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.  The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.  I’m going to mark this thread as Pending Fix for now.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.

Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Kristin,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Great, thanks for providing me with that information.

Would you mind providing me the URL that you are importing that doesn’t seem to be working?  Just to clarify, does this only occur with scheduled imports from Facebook?  If you could take some screenshots of your import settings as well, that would be very helpful!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi David,

I’m glad to hear that Event Aggregator is up and running!

You may want to take a look at your Events Settings < Imports, and see what you have checked:

Also, you may also want to take a look at the settings you have below the Event Update Authority settings, as these will dictate how your information is updated.

Here is our Knowledgeable article import settings:

in reply to: Recurring Event Adds Multiple Events for Each Day #1378796

    Hi Josh,

Thanks so much for reaching out and we appreciate your patience!

Just for your reference, when you “bump” a post, it shows as being newer, which makes it essentially go to the bottom of the pile.

Anyway, thank you for providing me with your system information.  What version of Events Calendar PRO are you using?  For some reason, I do not see it in your system information.

    1) when I add a reoccurring event (unending) it then creates a separate event for each date, meaning there is now endless posts so impossible to find or search for anything now…and it is still creating!

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what your recurring event settings/recurrence rules look like, so that I can try to replicate on my end?  Does this happen for all new events?

    2) When I click on any of the events that I have added as reoccurring, the resulting page is blank even through I have added descriptions and images

In other words, are your single events pages blank?  Can you share an example with me?  I clicked on a single events page for a recurring event, but I did not see the results you were describing.

    3) When they are listed on the events main page, the title of the page is displayed length wise and so takes up a lot of room (see screen shot)

If you go to Screen Options at the top of the page, you can select fewer options, which should return the page display to normal.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Event Tickets Plus, the tickets are created in an e-commerce solution, such as WooCommerce and they are saved as WooCommerce products.  I know that you can create linked products in WooCommerce, though I’m not quite sure how this functionality carries over into tickets.

With that being said, we have a great refund policy and give a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so if you try it out and it doesn’t have the functionality that you are looking for, you are welcome to a full refund.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

For now, I am going to close this thread.

in reply to: Start Date for Recurring Events #1378434

    Hi Uwe,

    Thanks for reaching out again!

Unfortunately at this time, Event Tickets does not actually support recurring events, which it sounds like you have already gathered.

If you are interested, you should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.  We take customer feedback into account when implementing new features, so your vote would be greatly appreciated!

One suggestion that I have is that you create the recurring event series as usual, and then use the Break from Series option for each event that you want to add a ticket.  This way, you can populate your calendar with your events, and then the tickets should say their individual date on them.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Lewis,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Recurring event issues #1377803

    Hi Ihtezaz,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue!  Over time your site will continue to slow down if you/your client want to keep all of the past recurring events.  You can look into a different server, with a greater capacity in order to accommodate your needs.

I would also recommend updating all of your Events Calendar plugins, as new versions have been released since we began this conversation.

Just to confirm, are you only seeing this issue when you create a new recurring event?  Please let me know when exactly you are seeing the 500 error.

Have you looked into caching, as I had linked to previously?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/

Also you may want to try to install Query Monitor on your site, which can help to pinpoint where some issues may be on your site.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Google Cal Duplicate Events #1377779

    Hi Brian,

I’m really sorry that you are still experiencing this issue.  Thanks for hanging in there with us!  Just to clarify, are you saying that when you ran the import with the link you provided me with earlier, nothing is being imported?

If you go to Events < Help, what do you see under Recent Template Changes, Event Log, and Event Aggregator System Status?

Also if you go to Events Settings < Event Update Authority, what do you have selected?

Can you update The Events Calendar to the most recent version and try to import the calendar with no other plugins activated?

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
