Unfortunately at this time, Event Tickets does not actually support recurring events, which it sounds like you have already gathered.
If you are interested, you should add your vote to this existing feature request for Event Tickets to support PRO’s recurring events.  We take customer feedback into account when implementing new features, so your vote would be greatly appreciated!
One suggestion that I have is that you create the recurring event series as usual, and then use the Break from Series option for each event that you want to add a ticket. Â This way, you can populate your calendar with your events, and then the tickets should say their individual date on them.
