KeymasterHi Jeff,
Thank you for your patience in this matter. I apologize if we have not gotten back to you in a timely manner, as we are currently experiencing a high volume of support threads.
Let’s start off by making sure that you are running the most recent versions of all of our plugins. Once that’s taken care of, would you mind sending me an updated version of your system information?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Also, is your Events page the only page experiencing a 404 error?
Have you included the following snippet in your theme’s functions.php file? It was noted in the article I referenced to. If not, would you add this snippet so that we can get some additional diagnostic information?

Let me know if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,

November 13, 2017 at 7:39 am in reply to: Will ECP delete recurring events if I've set series end from never to 2 mo ahead #1381562Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Robert,
Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!
If you go to Events Settings < General, you have options for when to clean up recurring events and how far in advance recurring events will be created.
In addition, we have created a Recurring Event Cleanup Tool, if you need to delete events:
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/recurring-event-cleanup-tool/
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Joanna,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are having this issue with Event Aggregator. Would you mind pointing me to where you are seeing this incorrect address?
Also, if you can provide me with a link to your Google Calendar import, I can do some testing on my end.
In the meantime, I would highly recommend updating your WordPress version, as well as all of your Events Calendar related plugins to their most recent versions, just to ensure that everything is running optimally.
After updating, please let me know if you are still experiencing this issue!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Greg,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are running into this issue since the update! Would you mind sharing a link to an event where you are seeing this issue, so that I can look into it?
For your reference, you can download previous versions of our plugins on your My Account page.
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Gina,
Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with Event Aggregator.
A few things to check on to start:
- If you go to Settings < General, make sure that your timezone matches the timezone you have set on your calendar.
- Take a look at the settings you have under Events Settings < Imports. These setting will dictate how events are handled upon import, in addition to how they are handled when edited/removed/added: <span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”></span>https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/
- For new events that are missed, check out Import Date Range Limit under Global Import Settings. By default, only events up to one month in the future will be fetched, but you can alter this setting.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Peter,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
In general, if there are no events in a previous or future month, the Previous and Next links will not appear. If this is not the case with your events, I would recommend starting off by running through our testing for conflicts procedure to see if there is a conflict between our plugin and another plugin or theme.
If you are still experiencing an issue, please post in our WordPress.org forums with any other Events Calendar questions.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Holly,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue! Does something trigger this error to appear?
I would start off by increasing your maximum execution time.
The best/simplest way to solve this timeout issue is by increasing the max_execution_time in php.ini (the default value is 30 seconds):
max_execution_time = 60If increasing the max_execution_time to 1 minute is still not enough, you can adjust/increase it more to ensure that the server will have time to process your requests before it hangs.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with your tickets.
Sometimes tickets do not get removed from the total sales numbers for one reason or another. You can change this manually by going to the WooCommerce Product Page for the ticket in question. From there, you can manually change the total_sales custom field to reflect the actual number of tickets sold. This will update on your Attendees page as well.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

I wish I had better news for you, but we are still actively working on this issue. I can reassure you that your other thread has not been closed and has just been marked as Pending Fix, which means that you will be notified when a fix becomes available for the bug that you are experiencing. You can still respond to that thread if you have any additional questions in the meantime.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
I’m going to close this thread for now, but please feel free to respond to your previous thread if you have any other questions on this issue.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Joseph,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I visited your site, and I saw a number of console errors appear:
https://cloudup.com/cSE6Y163OJW
I believe that there may be few things at play here. One thing I would start with is to go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > APIs and ensure that your Google Maps API key is inserted properly: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/
After that, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Also, before doing this, I’d recommend updating your Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO plugins, and WordPress to their most recent versions.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jarrad,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
In order to achieve what you are describing, I would recommend checking out our article on Admin Roles and Permissions. With the help of a plugin, like Members, you may be able to have advanced role capabilities:

Also, please feel free to vote on or add this idea to our Feature Ideas, as we take custom feedback into account when implementing new features:

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
