KeymasterHi Eric,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue after upgrading to Event Tickets 4.6.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link? I see that you have provided us with your system information, but could you provide us with an updated version, with the plugin versions that you are using when you are experiencing this issue?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Daniel,
I just wanted to follow up with you and let you know that I got some more information on your issue. It seems that there is a bug related to our geolocation code. A workaround for this issue at this time would be for you to roll back to Events Calendar version 4.4.18.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
As for your other issues, if you are still experiencing them, I’d recommend opening a new thread for that issue, so that we can deal with each issue separately.
Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Giorgio,
Okay, I believe I understand what you are looking for now. One idea that I have to help you achieve the result that you are looking for is for you to include events in the main blog loop. If you go to Events Settings < General, you can check “Include events in main blog loop” and Save Changes.
Then if you go to Settings < Reading, and you select Front Page Display- “Your latest posts”, you will see your events appear on your front page.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Wayne,
By default, the photo view is not displayed in one row. However, our plugins are highly customizable, and it is possible that you will be able to achieve this with some customizations. Our Themer’s Guide is a great place to start to help you achieve the results that you are looking for. You can take a look at the Photo View templates to get an idea of what you can copy and edit yourself.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
November 10, 2017 at 12:48 pm in reply to: Export CSV File shows Question Mark in non-English character #1380206Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Ben,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Hi, when i export csv file, it shows ????? in the file for non-english words.
It seems that this is related to a known issue. For now, one thing that you can try is the snippet at the bottom of the following forum post.
Also, how can i add phone information in the csv file or in primary information?
Further more, any way to add a customized field in the csv which got from user’s input like their favourite colour?
In order to add custom information into the CSV file, you can add this information into to Attendee Information when you edit a ticket. From there, you can select the type of information you add and if it is required information. The information that attendees fill out will automatically be added to the CSV Export.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Shelly,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you are having a conflict with your theme.
One thing you can try is to dequeue the javascript files that are conflicting with our plugin. You can use this extension to do that:
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/dequeue-assets/
Another thing you can do is to reach out to your theme developers and see if they have any suggestions on this issue.
http://www.mojo-themes.com/item/issuemag-pro/#mojo-comments
Also, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Paul,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
Here is some more information about Genesis theme framework integration:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/genesis-theme-framework-integration/
If that doesn’t help, I would recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see if they can assist you with this issue at this time, or posting your question on our WordPress.org forum for The Events Calendar.
We cannot assist with customizations, as per our support policy, but we’d be happy to provide support if/when you decide to purchase a license for Events Calendar PRO.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks for providing me with all of this information. I’m sorry that you are seeing additional issues with your site since updating, however I’m glad to see that you have a workaround for now.
Let’s start off by working on your initial issue. Would you mind sharing a screenshot of your map settings with me? Also, if you could tell me what triggers that error to appear, I could try to replicate things on my end.
In the meantime, you may also want to ensure that you have everything set up properly with Google Maps:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/
Please let me know if there is anything else I need to know in order to replicate this issue!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Adam,
Thanks for getting all of this information to me.
It seems that this is related to a known issue with transients. In the meantime, if you do have access to your WordPress backend, there are a few plugin options that may help to clear out your transients. Please keep in mind that these are third-party plugins, and we are not affiliated with them in any way.
You may want to check out Transients Manager and/or WP-Sweep to help clear your transients.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. Thank you for your patience as we see this through and please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
