  • Hi Sebastian,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

One thing that you can try is to add the following extension, which will add a redirect option in Events Settings < Tickets.

    tribe-ext-rsvp-thank-you

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Stefano,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

We are constantly working on improving our translations, and apologize for not having it quite together yet.

I’m not sure how you are translating our plugins, but it’s worth noting that WPML is not yet compatible with Event Tickets Plus, which is why you may not be seeing all of the translations that you desire.

In addition, if you’d like to contribute to our translations and see what translations are available, you can take a look at our translations project:

    http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/

If you’d like to manually change the strings, you can try a plugin like Say What? or follow along with this article:

And finally, here is our Themer’s Guide, which can show you how to safely copy and edit template files, so that you will not lose your work after an update:

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Attendees number vs tickets available #1388298

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I completely understand your frustration with this issue and it is something we are working on correcting.

It sounds like you have a workaround for now, however in the meantime, one thing you can do is to alter the total_sales custom field on the WooCommerce Product page that is associated with the ticket that you are trying to edit.   You can change that number to reflect the actual number of attendees that you have, which will then change what you see in your Attendees tab.

You can also alter the ticket stock on the Edit Event page, where you edit your ticket.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Mullaney,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

    Issue 1:
I’m importing numerous events for which there are multiple hosts associated with the target facebook events. Example event links provided below. The problem I’m encountering is that each event is only being associated with a single organizer and additional organizers are not being created/associated when multiple hosts are present.

I imported the Facebook URL that you provided and two organizers were created.  It sounds like this is different than the results you saw, correct?

    Issue 2:
Imported Facebook events with different Facebook hosts have wrong Organizer in The Events Calendar.

When I imported that event individually (https://www.facebook.com/events/819090344936666), the organizer was added and the event was properly added to the calendar.  That event page in Facebook is associated with two organizers, as I mentioned above, which is why those are getting imported and used by default.  However, if you import individual events, you will see the organizers added properly to events.

I hope this helps to provide some clarity, let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Glad you were able to resolve your issue, you are welcome back in our support forums any time!

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

in reply to: Event URL and WPML #1388001

Great, thanks for providing me with that information.  As a next step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks, and clicking Save Changes?

After doing so, check if your translations save as expected.  Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: New importation bug? #1387999

    Hi Jérôme,

I’m glad to hear that everything is working now!

You can create a scheduled import for your Facebook events, so that it automatically updates.  In addition, you can alter your settings under Events Settings < Imports, which handles how edited events from the source are treated.

    Hi Penny,

I’m glad that you have found a workaround for now.  I can imagine that this can be a lot of extra work, but at least it will result in everything up and running properly!

Let me know if you need any further assistance!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Cal popup opens to top #1387962

Great, thanks for providing me with that information.

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Julián,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue!  Can you also update your WordPress version to the most recent version (v4.9) and test if the issue still occurs?

Stephan- we’d be happy to help you as well if you open a new thread!  Just come ready with your system information in a private reply so that we can expedite the process!
