ModeratorHi Jennie,
Thank you for your purchase and I’m sorry to hear you’re having troubles. I would be happy to help troubleshoot. To get started, can you please send over a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date’ section for an event related to your issue? I’d also recommend reviewing our PRO Additional Fields Knowledgebase article if you haven’t already.
In response to your second issue, it sounds like you have a theme and/or plugin conflict occurring. We don’t have any logged bugs of users reporting similar behaviors and I’m not able to reproduce the issue on my test environment. I understand temporarily reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours is tedious, but we are unable to provide support in these instances.
I recommend you set up a test environment so you can fully troubleshoot the issue in order to identify the source of conflict. I apologize I can’t do more in this scenario. For more information, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.
I look forward to your response and have a good evening. Cheers!
November 17, 2016 at 8:39 pm in reply to: Automatically update events on site (instead of manually syncing each event) #1194316Hunter
ModeratorHey Cameron,
Welcome to our forums and thank you for your purchase! At this time, the only way to import events from Eventbrite into your WordPress site is by selecting the dropdown which lists events from Eventbrite which you are the manager of, or you can copy/paste the event ID to import events which you are not the manager of.
So to answer your question, there is not a way to automatically sync events to be imported from Eventbrite at this time. I see the reasoning behind your request, so please visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas page and search to see if there are any relative requests. If not, feel free to add yours.
Thanks again and please let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers!
November 17, 2016 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Installed comet cache and not countdown clock never displays correct time #1194311Hunter
ModeratorHey Bryon,
Welcome back and sorry to hear you’re having issues. We’re pretty limited on supporting conflicts with other plugins (see What support is provided for license holders?), but the best way to address this would be to identify the .css and .js files being affected by the caching plugin and exclude those from being served as cached content.
You might want to contact the plugin author to see if they have any ideas for you too. I haven’t personally worked with this plugin, but the route I mentioned should work. Best of luck and if you end up needing a little more assistance, please review our list of customizers. It would also be appreciated if you could share your resolution once you come up with it for other users to refer to if they have a similar issue.
Thank you for choosing PRO and have a good evening. Cheers!

November 17, 2016 at 2:21 pm in reply to: Next Month link not showing in future calendar view short code #1194147Hunter
ModeratorHi Sacha,
I copy/pasted the shortcode you shared with me onto a page set up on my test environment. I’m unfortunately not experiencing the same behaviors as you. I can see links for both ‘July’ and ‘September’ beneath my calendar. Can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings? It would also be helpful if you could include your System Information as a private reply.
Thank you for reaching out and have a great afternoon!

ModeratorHey Craig,
Welcome back!
…it says it starts at 5am. A little early for a Santa to be parading around town don’t you think?
This made me laugh out loud, so thanks for that. And who knows? Santa could be an early bird or a coffee addict. All that aside, it looks like you’ve resolved the issue based on your latest response? Please let me know if this is the case and if not, I’d be happy to help further troubleshoot.
Thanks again and have a great evening!

ModeratorJeffrey,
Thank you for the response. You can set ‘WP_DEBUG’ and ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’ to ‘true’ on your wp-config.php file. (example below) You should be able to see any errors in your servers error log.
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );I checked our logged bug reports and see something resembling what you’ve shared with me, so I’ve added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming maintenance release.
Unfortunately there isn’t much info on the existing report in regards to a temporary solution. I’ll attempt to reproduce the behavior myself and add my findings to the report for the developers to review.
Sorry you’re having to deal with this minor hiccup and please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns on the matter. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Nora,
Sorry to hear it didn’t work out. I took a look at your site to see if I could help further assist, but I’m not seeing any export Google/iCal Export buttons on your single event pages. Did you end up getting them hidden after all? If not, try right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool. From there, you can identify the specific CSS class/ID you’ll need, then use CSS “display:none;” to hide the export buttons.
To alter where the events navigation lies, please review our Themer’s Guide as it provides insight on how to create and properly save customizations. We are fairly limited on the amount of support we can provide when it comes to customization requests, but please let me know if you get caught up along the way and I’d be happy to help further assist.
Thanks and best of luck. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Jonathan,
Glad to hear the situation isn’t as tense at the moment. You will not lose any of the imports you’ve set up when making the transition, though it’s always best to make a backup of your database prior to making the switch.
In response to the layout issues. It’s a little hard for me to build the correct template without having access to your site, which we’re unable to do. But if you review our Themer’s Guide, it will help walk you through the process of creating custom templates. Refer to this Customizing WordPress #1 – How To Create A Child Theme by LevelUpTuts YouTube video for a visual example of what needs to be done.
Sorry I can’t do more here and let me know if you get caught up along the way and I’ll do the best I can to assist. If it comes to it, we have a list of customizers available for hire. Best of luck and let me know how things go. Cheers!
November 17, 2016 at 11:18 am in reply to: Events not printing Ticket Availability Messages #1194039Hunter
ModeratorHey Callie,
You answered my question perfect! And thank you for sharing the screenshots, they actually helped answer my questions. I did experience the behavior where no notice is displaying for tickets that have not gone on sale yet, however I am getting a “Tickets are not available as this event has passed.” message when viewing an event with tickets that has already passed. (see screenshot below)

From my understanding, it is the default behavior that the tickets not get displayed until the ticket sale start date has been reached. And we did have a bug open for the past event ticket messages, but that has been completed and it appears to be working as designed for me.
Can you please confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide? Let me know if you’re able to reproduce the problem with the default WP theme and only our plugins active.
Thanks again for the detailed response and have a good afternoon. Take care!

ModeratorHey Filip,
Thank you for reaching out and welcome. I checked our logged bug reports, but I’m not seeing anything resembling what you’ve described to me. I would be happy to test the issue myself, but before doing so, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you learn?
Thanks again and have a good one. Cheers!
November 16, 2016 at 11:25 pm in reply to: Events not printing Ticket Availability Messages #1193710Hunter
ModeratorHey Callie,
Thank you for sharing the link with me and sorry to hear you’re experiencing troubles. Before I test the issue myself, can you send me step-by-step instructions on what I need to do in order to reproduce the behavior? Reason behind this is because there are a lot of different factors in play, so the more detail I can get the quicker we can get this logged and hopefully addressed in an upcoming maintenance release.
Thanks again and have a great morning. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Jonathan,
Sorry to hear you’re in a stressful situation. Rest assured you can make the transition from iCal Importer to Event Aggregator in no time and it’s a relatively easy process. We’ve included instructions on how to do so here.
I’d also recommend reviewing the following resources:
- Things to Be Aware of in Version 4.3 of The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Premium Add-ons (Posted 10/13/16)
- Release: The Events Calendar 4.3, Event Aggregator, and Premium Add-ons
- Known Issues
In response to your concern about having to purchase another license, this is not the case. As you’ve noticed, we’ve granted a license for Event Aggregator which will expire on the same date your iCal Importer license was supposed to expire.
Lastly, we unfortunately do not provide support via telephone communication. For more information on what we cover, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.
Thank you for understanding and please let me know if you have any questions. If you come across any conflicts or questions, feel free to open a new thread. To save yourself some time, review our Testing for conflicts guide prior to opening a thread as it’s a required step before we can help troubleshoot the issue.
Have a great evening and best of luck with the big launch! To avoid this in the future, I recommend checking our Release Notes regularly. We also send out emails for these kinds of events, so keep an eye on your inbox too.
Cheers!
Hunter
ModeratorHey Dave,
Thank you for the update and I’m glad to hear you’ve at least identified the source of conflict. If you need additional assistance, we have a list of customizers available for hire. I’ll close this thread out but please create a new one if you have any more questions. Cheers!
November 16, 2016 at 10:55 pm in reply to: Event Ticket Plus (Value must be less than or equal to zero) #1193693Hunter
ModeratorHey Christopher,
My apologies if I caused any confusion. When I tested for the first time, I thought you were using WooCommerce. I did experience the same behavior seen in the video you shared with me. Coincidentally, this was due to the fact that I installed WooCommerce first, then EDD on my test environment. I deleted both plugins and installed/activated EDD first, then WooCommerce. I then tested again and the problem was resolved. This is why I shared that information with you, which ended up being irrelevant.
Once you clarified you were not using WooCommerce, I retested using only The Events Calendar, EDD, and Event Tickets Plus (no WooCommerce). This time, I did not experience any conflict. Please let me know if this helps clear up the confusion.
Also, my coding skills do not help me. I can find the items you talked about, but do not have the skills to use them.
I understand, but without any logged bugs resembling the issue you’re having and the fact I cannot produce the behavior basically means there’s not much we can do here. We have a list of customizers that can help further troubleshoot the conflict.
Thanks again for your patience while we fully investigated the issue and let me know if you’ve got any more questions or concerns. Good luck finding a resolution for your issue. I would at the least set up a test environment on your local machine to see if you can replicate the behavior. As always, refer to the Testing for conflicts guide to make sure no theme/plugin conflicts are in play.
Cheers!
