MemberGood afternoon Maximiliano and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about your 3 issues.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic. The good news is that these should all work under normal circumstances. We just need to troubleshoot properly to identify what is causing the issue.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
Also, it would be great to have a link to the actual website so that we can investigate this further
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Carl and welcome back!
Thank you for sending a screenshot.
Unfortunately, based on the screenshot alone, I cannot seem to find anything inherently wrong in there. To be able to help you further, I would need you to :
- Expand on what you are expecting to see differently in the Events Calendar Pro widget that you are not currently seeing ? As stated before, they look exactly the same visually AND in the widget section of your WordPress admin. The only difference being the number of options available in the widget (see the following page to get a sense of that)
- Provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Tim and welcome back!
Sorry about the misunderstanding, my bad.
You should be able to do what you are looking to do (show all venues on the map).
However, it is not a built-in feature of <b>the Events Calendar.</b>This leaves you with 2 options:
- Make the customization yourself (you might want to read our Themer’s guide)
- Hire one of our <u>recommended customizers</u> to do the customization
ALso, can I allow the Venue to edit/manage their own profile details as well as submit events (via community events).
Technically, this is possible.
Community Events allows logged-in users to edit/manage venue details as well as submit events, provided they have the proper capabilities (which you can control via a plugin e.g.: Members). You would have to properly define roles and capabilities, specifically the edit_others_tribe_venues capability.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Terry,
Thank you for all your answers and patience.
I understand how this can be frustrating and unsettling. To be transparent with you, this is the first time I have seen such an issue.
Pinpointing the cause is no easy task provided the circumstance, but I would love to figure this out as much as you do.So if you do not mind, I would totally love to get a copy of the Excel spreadsheet as well as a list of the events that failed to import properly for some odd reason. Could you place the said Excel file in a Dropbox folder or Google Drive link ?
1. I did reset the Use the site wide time-zone everywhere option but I could not see how that was going to affect anything. The data is already in the database and is incorrect. Changing that setting did not change the display nor the incorrect data in the database.
Thank you for doing this. I wasn’t aware that the information in the database itself was off. I was under the impression that only the displayed value was off.
If the information in the database is wrong then it does point out to an issue during the initial iCal import.
2. I did some basic analysis and reviewed 22 events starting with the ICS file which I opened in Outlook. The net of this was I identified 3 records that did not import at all (for no obvious reason), 3 errors where the import incorrectly assigned dates/times and 16 events that imported correctly. I cannot find any differences between the source ICS events that imported correctly when contrasted to the ones that did not. The errors are not all at a particular time of day, nor are they “odd” times like 17:30 versus 17:00.
Based on this, it also points to some kind of error during the ICS calendar import.
My best working theory is that there was a hiccup during the import where a start or end time was not processed properly, thus breaking the ensuing events times during that import.
1. Does the iCAL importer create any kind of log for the sync tasks?
Yes it does. As I am describing below.
2. Does it make sense to truly delete all the events from the database and then re-sync to Google to see if the Timezone setting change will impact the import?
The best solution would indeed be to truly delete the initial import and try it again.
However, for technical reasons, you will need to erase all trace of the log. To do so, please follow my colleague Brook’s instructions in the following post on a similar issue.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed, this might solve it!
Once again we are truly sorry for the inconvenience which is not an accurate reflection of how the plugin usually works.
If all else fails, please note that you are indeed entitled to a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase.
Have a good week-end and keep me posted.

MemberGood afternoon John,
To answer your question, the “See all” on recurring events will show you all of the recurring events starting with the oldest one.
Should you want to filter that result (e.g.: to remove the past ones), you can do just that by drawing inspiration from another one of our great customers as suggested here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/view-past-events-gorked/#post-1060236
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon John,
Could you please answer my previous question ?
Just our of curiosity did you change the date format back to your previous date format for the whole site after creating your recurring events ? The reason I am asking is because I am no longer seeing the 2016-01-30 format.
From the screenshots you have shared with me, it looks like your date format has been changed to d/mm/yyyy and not yyyy-mm-dd.
To clarify things, if you want to use the recurring events with exclusions, you absolutely need to keep the yyyy-mm-dd everywhere on the site (WordPress settings and Events Calendar settings) always (at least until we support all date formats). You cannot revert back to any other date format after creating the recurring events. It will break the results (as you can see).
If you want to keep your own date format, the only option available for you at this time is to use recurring events and then manually deleting the events on the date you are not interested in.
Once again we apologize for the situation. Hopefully this will not last very long.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Alessandra and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products and we’ll be glad to answer your question.
The Event Tickets plus includes 1 year upgrades and support for one year. Does this mean that every year I have to pay 89U$ to keep using tickets Pluz?
The answer is no, you don’t need to pay 89US$ every year to keep using Tickets Plus.
But it means that you will no longer have access to updates and awesome support for it.
It also means that we cannot guarantee the non-updated Tickets Plus plugin will remain compatible with future versions of the Events Calendar free plugin.
In other words, provided you don’t update the Events Calendar free plugin after your license expires, you can continue to use it as long as you want.
That being said, most users love getting the latest updates, features and compatibility as well as access to continued support 🙂
Let me know if that answers your question.
Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in our products and we’ll be glad to answer your questions.
Can we design a page that is essentially a google map detailing all venues (or events) in a given region ?
Great news!
Using the Events Calendar free plugin alongside our Premium the Events Calendar Pro plugin will give you access to the Map View. I believe this is what you are looking for.
See an example here: http://wpshindig.com/events/map/
Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been experiencing with email notifications accidentally being generated every time a user uploads an image.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.
The good news is that has been identified by other users as a legitimate bug which is now one of our top priorities.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Have a great week-end and thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the loss of functionality with SSL that you have been experiencing.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.
I’m wondering if this is not simply a conflict.
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out ?
As an alternative, setting your whole website to https (even when not logged in) might prove to be helpful.
Have a great day!

January 30, 2016 at 1:25 am in reply to: Event summary & Google map showing on blocked (wp-members) events #1064772Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Kathleen,
Thank you for your answer and for trying out the members plugin.
I went ahead and did a few tests of my own and arrived to the same results as you did.The reason why the links and the event meta are displaying in spite of the Members plugin action can be found in /the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php around line 65-71.
Basically the members plugin is blocking the_content, but not what gets called afterwards (the links and the event meta).
The best solution would be to read our Themer’s guide and do a template customization for the single-event.php. You can draw inspiration from my colleague George’s post on a related topic.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great week-end!

January 30, 2016 at 12:44 am in reply to: Pre-html content not carrying styling to Organizer and Venue pages #1064771Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Jennifer and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about missing pre-html content on the venue and organizer page.We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.
After careful inspection of the page, it seem that somehow the CSS rules are not kicking in fort the #background-layer–2 element on these pages.
I would try putting that CSS reule in your WordPress template’s CSS instead of defining it in the pre-html window found in Events -> Display.
As a first troulbeshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Stephanie and thank you for the system information.
The good news is that it looks good on that side of things.
It would probably be easier to be able to see the website, but we completely understand that it’s not possible at the current time.
That being said, we would still like to help you get to the bottom of the current issue the best we can (even without seing the site).
For one thing, I would like you to navigate to [yoursite]/events/community/list while logged in and tell me what options are visible at the top of the page under My Events (Add New, Display, …).
Perhaps a screen shot could work for now ?
Have a good week-end,

January 30, 2016 at 12:14 am in reply to: TEC Pro: no widget events found in Google structured data testing tool #1064769Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Bark,
First of all, let me apologize for the initial misunderstanding.
On the plus side, that led me to investigate the issue thoroughly. It turns out you were absolutely right.
Unfortunately, we removed the structured data from the widget for 4.0 due to reports about it showing up on everyones google search results.
That being said, you can totally add it back if you want to.
In fact, the idea of creating a tutorial to add it back has been submitted. I cannot commit to a specific date yet however.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Have a good week-end,

MemberGood evening Danielle and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
First of all, let me apologize for all the trouble leading up to getting an answer to your questions.
We are sorry for the difficulty posting the question as well as the accidental Solved status.Thank you for reaching out to us. It will be a pleasure helping you with the issue at hand.
Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
With that in mind, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply please ?
As a second step, I also recommend “flushing” the permalinks (re-saving them without changing anything). And let me know if that changes anything ?
Have a great weekend!
