MemberGood afternoon Sian,
Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear this bug is affecting you too.
Unfortunately, I do not have an update on the progress as this has to go through a full release cycle (along side other fixes). That being said, if you want to be notified as soon as the bug fix is released, I would recommend opening a thread of your own on that topic so that we can offer the best customer experience possible.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Per and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the missing string translation.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.I just went ahead and switched my WordPress installation to Norsk.
The result was that I got to display Billeter (as a title), but the Stock information (50 out of 50 available) and the Add to cart button were still in english.
This is caused by the fact that my installation of WooCommerce (and probably yours too) needs the Norwegian language pack added (or updated).
Please read the following documentation on that topic to get started: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/Once that’s done, everything should display in Norwegian properly.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Ryan and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products and we’ll be glad to answer your questions.
1.) If we upgrade to a multisite plan, it is our understanding that all the sites included will pull the events? Meaning, if we add events on one of our multisites, it will publish to ALL microsites?
That’s a great question.
A Business or Agency plan allows you to install our premium plugin on several sites without having to pay full price for each license. However, it does not mean that the events will publish to all microsites.
If you are looking to accomplish that, you might consider using our iCal importer premium plugin which can sync it’s data from any iCal/gCal calendar.
2.) Is the widget fully customizable? (Color, Size, Padding, etc.)
Yes, absolutely.
You can achieve that through a combination of:
- Choosing the Visual template of your choice (including barebones) as a starting point
- Reading our Themer’s guide.
- Writing you own CSS rules so that things look the way you want to
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I appreciate the effort. Kudos on that!
Let me run this by my senior teammate to have his 2 cents on it.Unfortunately this means we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get some additional feedback.
So thank you for your patience 🙂

MemberGood evening Maximiliano,
Thank you for your answers and the system information.
Wow, this is not a fun problem to have at all.By the looks of it, it seems like there is either a WordPress theme or a plugin conflict going on.
As a first step, could you please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out ?
I am also noticing that you do not have the latest version of Visual Composer Installed (which might help).
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Amin,
Hmmm, this is really odd.
Normally there should not be any extra scripts there, but then again I can’t speak for that theme’s author. However, I would make sure to empty your cache totally since you are using W3 Total cache.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

February 1, 2016 at 5:50 pm in reply to: 404 error for new organizer created with new event #1066032Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Keith and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the error 404 issues you have been experiencing.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.I just ran the same test as you with the exact same results.
It appears that this is a legitimate bug and it seems caused by the interaction with WPML.
What is happening is that the organizer doesn’t seem to be assigned a language upon creating the event.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
In the meantime, I have found a work around that should allow you to continue using your site.
Here’s the breakdown:- Create your event exactly how you are doing right now
- Once published, while you are still in the Edit Event screen, right-click on the Edit Organizer link and open the link in a new tab
- Once in that new tab, just save the organizer (which will assign a language to it) and everything should work smoothly
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHi again,
In the meantime, if you want to give it a try, I would recommend downloading version 3.12.6 from WordPress.org and looking at the code found in /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/widgets.
Although we don’t officially support it, you should be able to steal the code from that version pretty easily 🙂

MemberGood evening Simon and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the broken view renaming issue you have been experiencing.
I just went ahead and checked on the knowledgebase post and it is still flagged for review.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But what I can tell you, is that it is at the top of our priority lists.I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Have a great evening!

MemberGood afternoon Louis and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with Events Community and the email notification.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.First of all, to be transparent, there is currently a reported bug with users having the subscriber role not being able to create organizers (and venues).
Can you confirm this was done with a subscriber role ? If not, could you tell me what role was used ?Secondly, there is also another documented bug where uploading an image to a submitted event creates an email notification with a link to the image instead of a link to the event.
We apologize for any inconvenience these 2 issues might be causing.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for those fixes at this point. But both of them are part of our top priority for Maintenance releases.
You will be contacted as soon as the bugs get fixed. Finally, there is also a chance some the issues you have been experiencing can be caused by some conflicts with your WordPress theme or plugins. But let’s not jump to any conclusions yet.
For example out of your list I am seeing:
- Event Rocket (which is no longer supported since version 4.0 of <b>the Events Calendar</b>)
- The Agenda view plugin (which is no longer supported and reported to be broken)
- WordFence and Bulletproof security (which are know to not interact nicely with one another)
So to be on the safer side, could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Have a great evening!

February 1, 2016 at 11:20 am in reply to: Page template body class not being included in Community Events pages #1065911Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Teresa and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the .page-template-eventscalendar-php body class not being added to the Community Events pages.
We will gladly try to assist you on this topic.I am using a specific page template for the EC pages (that I selected in the settings – where it says it’ll be used for Community Events pages too) and while the correct page template is being used, the body class generated by the theme (.page-template-eventscalendar-php) that goes with that template is not being added to any of the Community Events pages (but it is on the other events pages).
You are right, by default, once you use a custom page template for your Events Calendar (not only of Community Events), the plugin will not attempt to add these classes on it’s own.
You will have to add them manually to your page template if you want them to appear. So in short, it is not a bug, but intended behaviour.
The reasoning behind this is that when selecting their own page template most people want to have total control over what gets displayed (hence the lack of default CSS classes being returned). You can probably achieve that fairly easily by using a combination of:
- our Themer’s guide
- A look at the templates found in /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views
- The following post or WordPress.org
I do see another common body class in all the event pages: .tribe-theme-sv (my main theme is called sv) – if I use that instead for styling, can you confirm it will be there on ALL event pages?
Yes, you can use your custom class for styling (.tribe-theme-sv) but as you already pointed out, this means starting more or less from scratch. It would probably be faster to add the required body classes to your WordPress page template as a starting point.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
