We have several users who I have added to the email alerts for our Community Events. There was an event created on 2/13/2016 which had a title, image, description, Date & Time, location and organizer info. The email that went to the subscribers was called “image” and contained NO details.Also, when users that are subscribed (without wordpress accounts) they are getting emails that link to the login page instead of the public event details page. We’d really like this fixed as it was the purpose for purchasing the community events plug-in so anonymous users could add events and have the email link back to the event. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been experiencing with email notifications accidentally being generated every time a user uploads an image.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.
The good news is that has been identified by other users as a legitimate bug which is now one of our top priorities.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear this bug is affecting you too.
Unfortunately, I do not have an update on the progress as this has to go through a full release cycle (along side other fixes).That being said, if you want to be notified as soon as the bug fix is released, I would recommend opening a thread of your own on that topic so that we can offer the best customer experience possible.

Just wanted to jump in here and let you know that we released Community Events 4.0.3 last night and it included a fix for this issue. Please check your WordPress updates, or you can also grab the latest copy by logging into this site and heading to My Account > Downloads.
