Thank you for all your hard work and your answers.
It’s truly appreciated and I really do hope we can get this sorted out ASAP.For that purpose, I will escalate it to some of our senior team members.
On the downside it does mean I will only be able to get back to you tomorrow so thank you once again for your amazing patience in the resolution of this issue.Have a great evening and I will get back to you tomorrow as soon as I receive feedback.

MemberGood evening Terry,
As promised, I did follow up on this topic with our senior team members.
The outcome was that I was asked to perform in-depth testing.
The idea being to make sure that no stone is left unturned and that whatever happens, this type of issue no longer poses a problem to any of our clients.I will manually be recreating the events in my own calendar and perform a step by step import to see where things break.
On top of that, with your permission, I would like to run the exact same import you are. As such, could you please provide me with the Calendar feed URL you are using ? (in a private reply preferably).
Thank you once again for your cooperation on getting to the bottom of this.
Have a great evening!

MemberGood evening Terry,
As promised, I went ahead and tested thoroughly.
Here are the results:- Manual creation of the event worked like a charm as expected.
- No matter how I sliced it (I experimented with a bunch of settings), importing the events from the Google Calendar feed resulted in the exact same result as you had (the poster child example being the event from February 10 Winston….)
The only good news is that I believe I have found the cause of the bug.
It looks like the event with the faulty time is actually using the timezone from the event just before it (in this case the Luxembourg event).
I am unsure why that is the case (especially provided the following events on that day are fine). In any case, I want to apologize for all the trouble and I will go ahead and log this as a bug on our end.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately this is all I have for now.
Is there anything else I can help you with ?
Best regards,

ParticipantThanks, Geoff. I appreciate your detective work on this issue.
Please do let me know when this makes it through your development cycle. We are using the plugin on a production site so, in the interim, we’ll manually edit the incorrect events. Is there any way to flag an event so that it is not overwritten on import? We are running the iCal import on a daily basis and, obviously, do not wish to edit the same events every day.
Thanks again.

MemberGood afternoon Terry,
Thank you for your amazing understanding.
I will absolutely let you know as soon as I have any updates. Is there any way to flag an event so that it is not overwritten on import? We are running the iCal import on a daily basis and, obviously, do not wish to edit the same events every day.
Actually, this is where the built-in feature is awesome.
Events that have been imported once (even if edited) will not reimport again (to prevent duplicates).
Just to make sure, I tested it with the Winston Salem event and it works like a charm on my end 🙂Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.
