    Good evening Jared and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with the CSV import.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The good news is that I believe it’s a simple matter of formatting the fields in a manner that works with the importer. For one thing, the date format you are using could be mistaken by the importer as discussed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-the-events-calendars-csv-importer/

    I would recommend going through the following guide and giving it another shot: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Brian and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the plugin conflict you have been experiencing when activating the Events Calendar Pro. I would love to help you with this topic.

    As you might know, we do try hard to make our plugins compatible with as many WordPress themes and plugins as possible. This is why we take great care in following all of WordPress coding standards.

    Unfortunately, as you found out, just because of the sheer number of plugins and themes out there, this is not always possible. As such, we simply cannot guarantee compatibility with themes or plugins that stray from WordPress standards.

    The issue you are describing is usually due to multiple versions of jQuery being loaded onto the page (as opposed to using the one that comes with WordPress by default).

    I would recommend you contact your theme author about this because it is very likely this will cause conflicts with other plugins as well (which I am sure is not his/her goal).

    When you do so, you might want to share the following post on a related topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/jquery-conflict-causing-multiple-issuesnext-day-btn-doesnt-work-in-this-case/

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Justin,

    Kudos on finding the culprit! However I am very sorry to hear about the incompatibility.

    As you might guess, we try super hard to be compatible with the greatest number of plugins possible, but sometimes we do fall a bit short on that attempt (especially provided how many there are out there!).

    Unfortunately, I do not have access to the Pro version of Advanced Custom Fields. But I did try to replicate the issue with their core version and was not able to. The synchronize button works just as it should.

    So there seems to be something going on with Advanced Custom Fields Pro specifically.

    As I mentioned earlier, unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites, even test ones.

    If you don’t mind, it would be worth taking a look at the Console from Google Chrome to see what’s going on when you try to sync (error messages and such).

    Other than that, I will report this to our Dev team. But just to set expectations, I cannot commit to a fix at this point in time. I suggest you might want to do the same with the good folks behind ACF Pro.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Hey Sean,

    No worries. Even if it takes us a couple of tries to get it to work for you, I’ll make sure I stick with you until we do 🙂

    The h2 you want to change comes from wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php at line 10. That should give you the exact spelling (Case sensitive) and domain of the text.

    Back to the original attempt you made (from the post link), I believe that did not work because my colleague George’s code was meant for EDD, not WooCommerce.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hey Jessica,

    Thank you for the system info and the extra feedback.

    Is there a manual way to do this? I ask because we rarely refund anyone, but we do a lot of rescheduling so we need to be able to manually add the spot back into the class without processing it as a refund.

    Yes, you have a couple of options to do so:

    Oh, one little thing. While the refund button did work, it also increased overall stock. It is still accurate in terms of the number of spaces available in a class, but it shows up incorrectly on the page.

    I am pretty sure, the culprit is WooCommerce – Autocomplete Orders plugin. Somehow, the way this plugin acts is different than what happens if you set your order to “Completed” manually and as such causes stock count issues.

    The reason why I am saying this is because many users using that type of plugin have reported similar issues.

    The good news is that you can now do something similar with a new feature built-in our plugin (after deactivating the plugin above). Just go to Events -> Settings -> Tickets and look for the checkbox 🙂

    If that does not prove successful, could you tell me what if you are using the new “Global Stock” option ?

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Daniel,

    Thank you for your input on this very topic. You do make a strong case for that feature.

    I can totally see how this would be super useful.
    In fact, you can suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum.

    As you might guess, we get a ton of feature requests. This is why we need to prioritize news features based on popularity.

    In the meantime, as I originally told Kenny, the good news is that we have worked hard at making our plugins customizable. We are aware that this is not perfect, but at least it enables people to tweak things to their liking.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Hey Guy,

    Thank you for your answer!

    Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in with admin credentials to clients websites for several reasons, including liability, so I had to remove the login information from the thread.

    I also took the liberty of registering as a front-end user to test things out, but unfortunately, I have not received an email confirmation on that. Would you mind creating such a front-end user for me please ?

    Best regards,

    Hey Paul,

    Thank you for your reply and your understanding.

    I will tell you what, I am going to do a round of testing on this (because curiosity is killing me).

    On your end, if you wouldn’t mind providing me with your system information in a private reply (following the instructions found in the link), that would help me in that process.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Guillaume,

    Thank you for your interest in our products.

    As I stated earlier in this thread, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.

    Don’t get me wrong, I would love to be able to do so, but provided the amount of features we are working on and the proverbial Murphy’s law, we prefer to not disappoint 🙂

    That being said, to give you a ballpark, weeks is absolutely too soon and years seem way too far away. Months would probably be the best guesstimate at this point.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Have a great day!

    Good afternoon Hannu,

    I hope you are doing fantastic.

    This string should have been added as part of our latest update.

    Would you mind checking if that works for you now ?

    Best regards,

    Good evening Gisela and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the iPhone display issue.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    I went ahead and tested with an iPhone 5 and I was able to reproduce the issue.

    This indeed looks like a theme or plugin conflict unfortunately as I could not reproduce the issue with a default WordPress theme and a basic installation.

    If you want to run a quick test, you might want to temporarily change WordPress themes to see if the issue persists (as you suggested). Normally you should not lose anything, but certain themes might not keep their options properly set when you do that.

    The best solution is to do a Database backup prior to your tests.

    Something else you might try is to simply rename the /wp-content/themes/sugar-and-spice/tribe-events/ to /wp-content/themes/sugar-and-spice/z_tribe-events/ to get rid of your customizations (if you have any).

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Sean and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for the great words. We appreciate it!
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The good news is that yes, you totally should be able to change just about any word you want in the plugin.
    Some more good news is that you there are many ways to do so.

    Could you give this one a try: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

    Good evening Josh and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    With that in mind, you might want to read our Themer’s guide (if you haven’t already) to get a sense of how customizations work.

    With customization (not that complex), you could:

    • Remove the start time from the email (the file responsible for this is found at /event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/WooCommerce/Email.php) – probably by adding a filter in the functions.php of your WordPress theme. I don’t know if you want that filter to be active for ALL tickets of ALL events though (which would mean you need a conditional “IF” in your filter)
    • Add the start time of each of these tickets by once again using a filter. The same advice for the conditional might apply here.

    If that is a bit outside of your confort zone, you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    Let me know if that helps to get you started.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Christopher and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    It turns out you are 100% right, this is a CSS issue.

    Careful examination of the CSS of your theme for mobile portrait revealed the following rule

    @media screen and (max-width: 600px)
    .entry-content ul.tribe-events-sub-nav, .tribe-events-sub-nav {
    visibility: hidden;
    clear: both;
    float: left;
    margin: 10px auto 5px 20px;
    width: 28%;
    display: none;
    }

    You’ll have to tweak it a bit. Here are some suggested values:

    • visibility: visible;
    • width: 100%;
    • display: block;

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
