ParticipantHello. And thanks for a GREAT plugin.
I’ve tried iterations of this template override suggestion to change the display title from “Tickets” to “Register” in a single event using Events Tickets Plus v4.1 and WooCommerce, but it doesn’t work. Is this still possible?March 21, 2016 at 9:22 pm #1092195Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Sean and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for the great words. We appreciate it!
I would love to help you with this topic. The good news is that yes, you totally should be able to change just about any word you want in the plugin.
Some more good news is that you there are many ways to do so.Could you give this one a try:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for sending that.It seems pretty straight forward, but no matter what I try, I can’t get the word “Tickets” to change. Could this be because it’s part of the form that sends the user’s desired number tickets to the cart?
It’s just a simple h2 with the “tribe-events-tickets-title” class. We’ve also tried a number of text domains such as “tribe-events-tickets-” with no luck. While testing, other words DID change so the snippet IS working.
Could you suggest a different text domain -or- some other method?
Thanks!

MemberHey Sean,
No worries. Even if it takes us a couple of tries to get it to work for you, I’ll make sure I stick with you until we do 🙂
The h2 you want to change comes from wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php at line 10. That should give you the exact spelling (Case sensitive) and domain of the text.
Back to the original attempt you made (from the post link), I believe that did not work because my colleague George’s code was meant for EDD, not WooCommerce.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
