MemberGood evening Shah and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer is yes.
Let me expand on what I mean by that.- Technically an event organizer registering on your site with Community Events creates a WordPress user.
- In turn that user is assigned a WordPress User Role
- Each user roles has different capabilities, including the ability to post events.
The good news is that you get to control how that works: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-community-events-submissions/
For example, you could decide that you need to approve every event that they submit.
Either way, just like pretty much any behaviour on your site, it is always possible to stop such an email from being sent (if this is what you wish).
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention.
The first thing I am going to do is to run this by our awesome products team. I will report my findings.
In the meantime, what I can tell you is that historically, WP All Import Pro was required to be able to import the Events Calendar events via CSV.
Since Events are merely a custom post type, that was a pretty straightforward experience.
Now that things are changing on the WP All Import front, the idea of having a dedicated extension seems totally sound.
Let’s see what the team has to say.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer is yes. You can edit the width to your liking.
Typically this is done via CSS. That can vary from theme to theme.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-mini-calendar-wrapper {
width: 80% !important;
}If that does not work, could I get credentials to get passed your login page at https://aemployees.wpengine.com
(via a private reply).Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood morning Chris,
I am super stoked to see you managed to fix this.
Thank you for your recommendations on the knowledge base article. I will totally pass them along. As for your curiosity question, the short answer, the answer is because the different views are using different pieces of code. Full disclosure, we are about to review all of our Google Maps related code and make it a bit more uniform in behaviour.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

I would love to help you with this topic and will gladly cancel the desired order. It looks like one of the purchase was made using [email protected] while the other was made using [email protected].
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
In your case, that would probably translate to logging in your account using the email attached to the order you want to cancel https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/
Once that is done, simply place the request in the the Events Calendar Pro forum.
As you can imagine, we cannot cancel order unless user have logged-in to their account as a proof of authentication.
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the ability to sell tickets disappearing from your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I am noticing (based on your system info) is that your PHP max_execution_time = 0. I would highly recommend changing that to 30 or 300. Perhaps you could ask your web host to help you out with that ?
That might not solve the issue, but it will certainly help your website as a whole.
Secondly, here are a few things to experiment with while you t<span style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;”>ake a look at the Edit Ticket section of your Edit Event screen:</span>
- See if there is a start sale date or end sale date in place. If so, delete them, save the ticket and update the event.
- See what are the stock rules for your ticket (unlimited, shared capacity, etc…). Try changing that setting to unlimited. Save the ticket and update the event.
When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
If you end up doing so, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. The short answer to your question is not yet. But that is about to change very soon!
The good news is that we are currently working on a new event platform that might be of interest to you as it will enable you to have full-fledged events embedded in your Shopify ecommerce websites.
I would recommend you read the following to get a sense of what it’s all about: https://theeventscalendar.com/calendar-beyond-wordpress/

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are a couple of ways to accomplish what you are looking for:
- Head over to Events -> Settings -> Display and look for the Disable the Event Search Bar option. Check it.
- Using a template override (custom view). You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. You would simply need to remove the code generating the Tribe bar.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Henk and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and kudos for solving that first issue. I would love to help you with this topic.
In order to gain full power on your site’s look and feel, I would highly recommend reading the following articles:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/styling-events-widgets/
Also the upcoming month / past month do not show correctly.
As I went on your page http://ontmoetingskerkmaarssen.nl/events-calendar/ it looks like you are using the calendarize-it plugin as opposed to the Events Calendar.
Perhaps this is the cause of the issue ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. How do I go about making it so my updates in the core files (such as customizing text) get reverted when I update the plugin?
The short answer is you are better off using a child theme to store your customizations.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. As for text changes, you might want to use the snippet found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
