ParticipantAfter the recent 4.9 wp update and the 4.91 update, we cannot actually sell tickets on an event. I updated the plugin both monday and again today (Friday) and the option to purchase did come back but only for about an hour.
Site info: prsamd.org
There’s only one event on the home page, if you follow it through, you’ll see at the bottom, that you cannot purchase tickets. Thanks for the help in advance.

MemberGood evening John and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the ability to sell tickets disappearing from your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I am noticing (based on your system info) is that your PHP max_execution_time = 0. I would highly recommend changing that to 30 or 300. Perhaps you could ask your web host to help you out with that ?
That might not solve the issue, but it will certainly help your website as a whole.
Secondly, here are a few things to experiment with while you t<span style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;”>ake a look at the Edit Ticket section of your Edit Event screen:</span>
- See if there is a start sale date or end sale date in place. If so, delete them, save the ticket and update the event.
- See what are the stock rules for your ticket (unlimited, shared capacity, etc…). Try changing that setting to unlimited. Save the ticket and update the event.
When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
If you end up doing so, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Best regards,
Geoff B.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
